The History (story) of the divine mercy chaplet
St. Faustina says she saw Jesus with rays of mercy flowing from His heart.
Jesus told her how to comfort him by giving her direction on how to pray the chaplet on ordinary rosary beads to please him.
He told her if you say it you will be given mercy at the hour of death. Also it's recommended to sinners when there's little hope of their salvation and if the worst sinner recites it once he will get mercy. also if said around a dying person, God will show much mercy on them instead of being a supreme judge.
