Is Santa Real?

Is Santa real or a creation of our imagination?

Is Santa real? That's a question that could be hard to answer. My first response would be, of course he's real. He was at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Now you can go see him at the mall. Even have a picture taken with him.  So if you can reach out and touch him, he must be real.

Oh, wait a minute bucko. Santa is not real cry the critics. Those are actors playing the part of Santa at the malls across America. People go to school to learn how to become Santas. He can't be in every store at the same time.

My reply,"why not" . It's magic that makes his reindeer fly. It's magic that he can hit every house in the world, in one night . It's magic that allows him to gain access to our homes. Even if you don't have a chimney. It's also magic that allows him to eat cookies and milk all night without throwing up. Of course cookies and milk might be contributing to his weight. So, why can't magic allow him to be in multiple places at once. 

There is no public proof that UFO's exist. Plenty of conspiracy theories concerning our Government hiding them,  but no proof. Yet alot of us believe they exist.  Some even tell of being zapped aboard a few.We spent billions of dollars looking for them.   But have we any physical proof that they exist?. Only the Government knows that and they are in denial.

Does God exist. I believe so, but the atheists can put up a good argument. Where is the physical proof?   The bible? Is it really the word of God? It's okay for miracles in religion to occur. Millions will believe tha Jesus turned water into wine. . Yet, Santa can't perform miracles? He is known as Saint Nick. A Saint mind you, that's an impressive title that doesn't get thrown around  alot. If the other Saints are real sought out by  people for advice , then Saint Nick should be considered real also. 

There are quite a few things in this world that we don't see, but believe in. Why is such blind faith alright with all these things but not for Santa? Why is it okay to allow your child to believe in a lie called Santa, until the  time they discover it's false? Is that good parenting? Oh I know the history of Santa. He was a real person. So is Jesus but have we seen him? That guy walking down the street declaring he is Jesus might be for all we know. That space alien might be real and not a guy going to a costume party. 

My point is this. Don't be so quick to not believe.Without UFO's would we have a space program? Without a God would we even exist?  Without Santa would there be a Christmas? Me, I'm going to believe in all of the above. Without them life would seem so dull.

I'll be putting the milk and cookies out like every year. In the morning I'll rush downstairs for my presents, stopping by to see the cookie bit into and the milk gone. Don't tell me Santa doesn't exist. This has been happening to me for my entire life!
