Satanic Deception and Hollywoodland: The Gnostic Lies

Updated on January 6, 2013

Please view part 1

The Great Apostasy

“But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.” 1 Timothy 4: 1-5

We see and hear a lot about these lately. The ‘gospel’ Judas, The ‘gospel’ of Truth, The ‘gospel’ of Mary, The ‘gospel’ of Thomas and many other writings claiming to be truth, but are they?

No, in fact all of those writings can be filed under one name HERESY!

Heresy : teaching lies about God. Many heresies seem hypnotic in their ability to lead people far astray, into spiritually deluded and destructive beliefs and behaviors. Thus, a passion for truth is the root of the concept of heresy.

This is why the early church got together, to refute heresy by using the God's Word(the bible) as a filter, if you will. Since the birth of Christianity there has been lies and distortion set out to destroy the faith and led people astray. There is no new idea that hasn’t already been refuted by the body of Christ hundreds of years ago, but heresies are constantly repackaged and sold as new “secret” knowledge.

We as Christians should keep testing and prodding, prayerfully using Scripture and the tools of discernment. We should not put up with any attempt to manipulate the dialogue, subtle or up front. Unfortunately sometimes even that doesn't work very well. In todays' world some people have become ever better at manipulating words and images to tell self-serving lies about God. And with the mass flow of info in the online world, heresy thrives.

In the article we will see how Hollywood incorporates doctrines of demons to lead people into apostasy.

I repeat if you believe all is well and good and hollywood is not portraying an anti Christ message please go back and watch more TV.

For some reason I never idolized my "idols". I loved Roy Rogers as a boy and then I learned how he got saved and then it became clear why he stood out. I never liked the bad boys or girls. I enjoyed John Wayne and then found out that he loved Christians and was motivated by Christians. The world of Hollywood is an illusion. The fact of money gives the illusion weight but it is only an illusion. Marriages don't last. People aren't happy they are entertained by their money. They show off their money. They try to make a difference within their world and with their celebrity. But the shallow existence rarely gives their voice real spiritual significance. Only every once in a while a person of principle or a Christian gets to speak. They rarely get the opportunity. Like the Christian Baldwin brother. Hollywood is a propaganda machine with the world pulling the strings and Satan voicing the puppet. Another wonderful hub.
