Scripture Proof that those believing in A Rapture Will be Leaving Earth

If you believe in a rapture from the earth then you must read this Scripture PROOF (100%) that you will be leaving the earth. The scriptures are true and full of proof that those believing in the rapture doctrine are correct, they will be leaving the earth. The timing is a little different than most believe but none the less, they will leave the earth as they believe.

According to the rapture doctrine, the children of God, siblings of His son Jesus Christ will be removed from the earth at some point before the day of judgment. Like most things in the church system, they cannot all agree on the particular time but each group has a point at which they expect this will happen.

What Scripture says about the day of the Lord

Since the scriptures have much information about the time of the great white throne judgment and how and what will take place it is easy to find and understand what scripture says about this. We can find everything we need to know in scripture except the actual date and time, which are not even known by the son of God, Jesus Christ.

Along the way we will run into some truths that may be upsetting to some, but truth is truth and we must show it, such as this one we run into when we look at who knows the day and time, so we will add a few asides as we go on.

First aside, of course, the widely taught belief that Jesus is God is shown to be a lie by this very statement in scripture. Read my article “Is Jesus God” for more details.

Matt 24:36-37 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

Mark 13:32 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

So here we continue on with our proof that those who believe the rapture doctrine will leave this earth. There are several scriptures that tell us explicitly what will happen in, what scripture calls” the day of the son of man”, the time of the end of this age and of mankind. So let's look at them and see what they have to say to us.

Before you go further STOP HERE and read all of Genesis Chapters 6 and 7.

Matt 24:36-44 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

God's instruction to Noah

Ok, now we have the scriptures, let's see what they actually say.

First we see that it will be just like it was in Noah's day when God shut them in the ark that God had instructed him to build. In that day (100 years) after the instructions were given , Noah had followed the plan given to him by God, had built the huge boat, had equipped it with provisions for his family and a pair of every species of living thing that lived on the earth. And also some extras to be used for sacrifice after the flood was over. God said He was going to destroy every living thing on the earth because men were ALL evil, except for Noah, the only Godly man left, his family were also to be saved. Thus God had prepared a complete do over, a new beginning on the earth, with NO evil men left. Note here that God had established at the time of creation, that when He was done it was finished. He would never again create any living thing. Because of this He had established that every living thing, on, in and above the earth and the water could only be replenished by the one method He had put within every living thing He had created. The means of procreation was built into each and every living thing, from the fish in the ocean to the trees, plants, animals and the man . They must from the end of the sixth day, in which God looked at all He had created and said it is good, be created only by the combining the male sperm fertilizing the female egg. In the case of the humans they would have to be birthed from the womb of a female man.

Gen 2:1-3 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

A look at how it was in the days of Noah, the week the flood came

So now we will need to look at at how it was in the days of Noah, the time when God flooded the earth and destroyed every living thing on the Face of the earth. Of course the fish and other sea creatures were not harmed because they live IN the water.

Gen 7:3-4 For after seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and I will destroy from the face of the earth all living things that I have made."

Noah was given seven days to prepare his family, the ark,and all the creatures before the flood God would release the flood waters on the earth. But there was no warning to the others, all the others, because they had rejected God, God owes them nothing but His wrath as promised.

Luke 17:26-36 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage,

As Noah and his family got ready for the coming flood, the rest of the world went on as if nothing was about to happen. They had not a care about the things of God. Being devoid of the Spirit of God they had no way of knowing what was to come, but they surely were not expecting the judgment of God, whom they had rejected to consume them.

Luke cont'd -until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

Then as God had promised the flood came and destroyed them all. They were destroyed, all of them. They were not only removed from the earth, they were gone for eternity, never would they or any of their descendants ever step foot on the earth again, because they were forever gone and their bloodlines were erased from the earth forevermore they would have NO DESCENDANTS. BUT Noah and those God had given with Him to be protected during the end of all other life on earth were safe aboard the ark, floating along, protected by the Hand of God, ON THE SURFACE OF THE EARTH. They never left the earth, they were protected (saved) by God as His chosen parents of ALL future human beings to possess the earth.

28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.

Another example of God's protection was Lot, the relative of Abraham. Lot was living in Sodom and if you read the story in Genesis 19 you will see that the city was full of sodomites (homosexuals) and when they tried to have sex with two angels God sent to see the city, God warned Lot to leave the city so he would not be destroyed with it. Lot believed God and left the city with his wife and two daughters as God directed. But as they left the city his wife did not believe God (God had said do not look back), she looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. Left there dead, as a pillar of salt to remind everyone that passed her who God is, that He means what He says and that there is punishment for disobeying Him. Something that is missing in so many today, the awesome fear of the Lord.

Another little aside here. Unlike Adam whose disobedience brought the curse of death upon us, Lot obeyed God and he continued on to safety, he had no sin so no punishment for him. His wife sinned but unlike Adam he did not join her in her sin but continued on, probably did not even realize she was missing because he never looked back as he would have had to do to see her. Also this is a good example of Luke 14:26.

Another aside, more proof of God's protection in the time of trouble can be found in the book of Exodus when God protected those of His by the blood of the passover lamb.

30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 "In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. 32 Remember Lot's wife.

Our ONLY warning for preparation of that day is here there will be no more

This is the instructions that must be followed in order to be protected from the great calamity of that day. If these are not followed, all that do not follow them precisely will be DESTROYED as were all those that were destroyed in the days of Noah and as was Lot's wife. Each family member is on their own, there is nothing you can do for them on that day and if you look back to check on them you are lost, you must as did Lot, do as you have been told, no exceptions, no excuses, no second chances are available on that day. On that day you must love being obedient to God more than you love anything, more than your family or anything else or you will be destroyed as was Lot's wife.

33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.

There is no other way to survive the day of death, you can not do anything to save yourself. You are to obey God, follow His instructions to the letter if you wish to survive. There will be no warning at the time, THIS IS YOUR ONLY WARNING no one but God Himself knows when this will take place, even Jesus cannot protect you at this point if you are not prepared. In other words this is saying, if you have not given up your life to God through Jesus you will lose your chance at eternal life because God can only protect those that have FULLY surrendered to Christ and follow Him, in other words , those whose name are written in the Lamb's book of life, before that day.

34 I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. 35 Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. 36 Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left."

First let me assure this is not an endorsement of homosexuality. There could be several men or several woman sleeping in a bed, men in a bed, women in another, they did not have fancy homes with separate bedrooms and beds like we do, in their day. The bed may be a mat or a blanket or such on the ground in a corner of the room. In a small room or on the roof top or any sort of such as a bed.

Now look at the final line above. Now look at the day of Noah, in the day of Noah, who was removed from the earth (taken), who inherited the earth (was left in possession of the earth)? The flood came and took them all away, who, those that had rejected God, the one that had not rejected God and his family were left to inherit the earth.

Inheriting the earth

Very few people teach about us inheriting the earth but the Word of God tells us repeatedly that the righteous (God's children, the siblings of His son Christ) will inherit the earth and we must understand what that means..

Ps 25:12-13 Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. 13 He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth.

Ps 37:9-10 For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth.

10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place,

But it shall be no more.

Ps 37:22 For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, But those cursed by Him shall be cut off.

Brethren, we have to remember that NO SCRIPTURE contradicts another and that ALL scripture works together to show the whole story. If we truly understand scripture we can not believe the lies that some men teach and try to convince us, that scripture says the opposite of what it means. We have to believe the word of God as written in scripture. You cannot believe everything in your bible, it is NOT scripture, it is a translation of scripture by a man or men, some are even translations of translations. And they all contain some of the beliefs of the translators, that are contrary to scripture.

You must at least use a word for word translation such as the Interlinear Bible that also shows all added words. You can find it free on the internet. And of course as you should already understand you must be baptized in the Holy Spirit to have all truth available to you as He alone possesses ALL TRUTH or you will be unable to correctly understand scripture.

They whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life WILL INHERIT THIS EARTH, THE NEW ONE AND ETERNITY. Those that have rejected God will be destroyed and removed from the earth completely and only those whose names have been written in the Book of Life will remain. The righteous will have inherited the earth and the new earth and will live there in peace for eternity.

So as you can see those who reject the true word of God and expect to leave the earth will leave the earth because in believing the opposite of what scripture teaches they are rejecting God. Because of this Jesus cannot write their names in His book of Life, so God cannot allow them to enter eternity at the judgment. They are correct they will be raptured off the earth, but into the lake of fire not into the eternity to be with God, it happens a little later in time then they expect but it will happen for them as they believe, in their attempt to save themselves by changing scripture to meet their carnal desires.
