Shani Dev is called the Angel of judgement. He is also called Karamfal Datta Shani Dev. But he gets annoying very soon.Here is a story of Shani Dev and the emperor Vikramaditya the king of Ujjain.

His judgement was very famous in the universe. He made no formalities in judgement.

Nine Planets had disputed about their importance and place in universe. They went to Devraj Inder and ask for their judgement. Devraj Inder confused at their decision and told them about Vikramaditya the emperor of judgement.

They went to him and asked for judgement. Emperor Vikramaditya heard their problem. The nine planets were Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. He made nine thrones of nine metals. The series was this:- Gold,, Silver, copper, aluminum, platinum, zinc, lead, uranium and Iron. Shani Dev felt insult on seeing the throne of iron for him. He annoyed and thought to teach him lesson.

Shani Dev came to Vikramaditya as a dealer of horses and asked him for buying the horse. Vikramaditya bought the horse and rode on it. As he rode on the horse it flew as an air and took him by crossing seven seas and threw him into the jungle.

There was no one all around in the jungle. He was disturbed with hunger and thirst. Suddenly he saw a shepherd and he told him the way of city. There he met with business man. He told his name Veeka.

Business man impressed at his appearance and behaviour. He took Veeka into his house and had lunch.As he took a bite of chapatti there was a Garland of gold on the hanging that the beads were disappeared accordingly the bites. When he finished the meals, the Garland was swallowed by the hanging.

Business man thought that Veeka had stolen that Garland and he did complaint to the king of the city. Veeka was presented before the king. The king ordered his men to cut his hands and feet threw him away. His men did so and threw him away.

Taili the Oil man was passing near by and saw him.He took him into his house and gave him work to sit on Kohlu and drive the bulls. Veeka did his work perfectly. On doing this work he also sang Malhar Rag.

King's daughter heard this Rag and wanted to get marry with Veeka. All tried to make her understand that this person has no hands and feet. But she confirmed at her decision. This was the time of Shani Dasha releasing.

Shani Dev came into Veeka's dream and realize him how much pains you had bored ranking me lowest. Veeka asked for pardon and felt sorry . The king's daughter didn't agree with any body's suggestion and confirmed her decision.At last the king had to bow his daughter's decision. In this way she got married with Veeka. With the blessings of Shani Dev Veeka's hands and feet were came as before

. Veeka introduced himself with the identity of Emperor Vikramaditya to the king. The king felt sorry and gave too much dowry with his daughter. The business man also heard about all this and went there and felt sorry.He invited Emperor Vikramaditya for lunch.

The emperor went into his home and he fed him meals with respect. The Garland came out from the hanging at the time of taking meals. All felt astonished and felt sorry again and again.

Emperor Vikramaditya told them that it was not their mistake. It all happened due to Shani Dasha. The Business man also got marry his daughter with emperor Vikramaditya with too much dowry.With two wives Emperor vikramaditya returned to his Nagari Ujjain.
