Shivaratri the special day of Shivji to protect the Universe from poison and many other super specialities in his life

Shivaratri is celebrated on the date of fourteen of Krishan Paksh in the month of Falgun. It falls on the month of February.

At Sagarmanthan time firstly poison arose and it was so dangerous that one could not take breath. By breathing that air so many Angeles and Damons fainted or died. Everyone confused how to do.

Lord Shivji had some special powers and a body that there was no much effect on him and he protected the whole universe with Angeles and Damons. That poison was Kalkoot and by taking that Kalkoot his throat became blue. Therefore he is called Neelkanth.

Once Brahma and Vishnu thought that they are great for his side. Brahma thought that he is the creator of the world and Vishnu thought that he is the Prevador of the world.

Both had proud of their work. Shivji annoyed at their thinking. Shivji appeared as Shivling and it was the day of Shivaratri. Shivji asked them to find the end of Shivling. Both went to find the shores of Shivling. But they could not find the shore.

Brahma told a lie that he had found the shore. Vishnu told that he could not find the shore. Shivji felt angry and cut one head of Brahma.

On this day Lord Shivji got married with Goddess Paarvati. On this day the position of planets is full of positive energies.

The internal positive energies are increased. The spiritual environment is made by planets that helps to energize our spiritual level.

Specially on this day through worshipping and doing meditation we can awaken our soul and get victory over enemies. For devotees it is useful for oneness. In yogic rituals Shivji is worshipped like a Guru. World's first Guru is Shivji who delivered the knowledge.
