Christians and the Homosexual Concept

Jamaica as the rest of the world is fast catching on to homosuality and is now giving respect and accpting that they homosexiuals have the same rights as hecterosexuals.

It is said as it was in the beginning so shall it be in the end.. There is nothing new under the sun.

The questions was asked why Christian hate Homosexuality ? This could be the reason. As the story is told in the Old Testament Bible Gen:18 and 19 , although individuals are trying to shy away from the Old Testament. However the same God is said to be the same yesterday and today, in the beginning and the end. Why should He change over in the New Testament. The New Testament portrays him as a God of mercy loving and forgiving .Others could say the Old Testament shows him as a God who was harsh and unforgiving.

Therefore if God is the same as yesterday but is willing to forgive then although he call homosexuality an abomination in the old Testament he would still see it as an abomination in the new but would be willing to forgive if forgiveness is asked for.

Since many of us do believe the Bible and all of it too, then we would think that homosexuality is an unacceptable behavior. We take our queue from the story recorded in the Bible. which goes something like this.

God looked down on the children of men and saw that immorality was taking over the land. He was Concerned about the sin of Sodomy and decided to destroy the city from whence it got its name.

God never really destroy anyone unless he gives due warning. So he told his Servant Abraham. Abraham who knew his nephew Lot lived in Sodom reasoned with God and asked. If you should find 20 righteous would you spare the city, God told him yes. But he could not find 20 so lot ask him if he found 10 if he would he told him yes but he could not find 10. Abraham asked if he found 5 if he would spare the city God told him yes. But again he could not find 5.

So God sent two destroying angels to Sodom who went in the form of men to explain what was about to take place to Lot and to instruct him how to save himself and his family.

The men of the city young and old even children saw the men and decided that they want them for their own pleasure. So they came to Lot and told him to hand them over to them. Lot knowing that they were angels reasoned with them to take his two virgin daughters instead. But they wanted none of that , they wanted the men fresh and new to the city and no matter what Lot said they were determined to the point that they were getting uncontrollable and Lot could not hold them back.

The angels then told Lot to step back and went out to them and smote all of them and immediately they became blind.

The angels told lot to take his wife and children and run from the city and they should not look back. While they were a way off God rained fire and brimstone and destroyed the city forever.

Lot wife was disobeyed, she looked back and was changed into a pillar of salt for a memorial of the destruction of the city. It is said that this city was never rebuilt even to this day.

This un-natural affinity to men is not the first time it has reared its ugly head. History has it the an Emperor ( not quite sure which country ) way after Christ came , passed a law that women should stand by their window at certain hour of the day I think it could have been lunch time with naked breast so as to win back man’s inclination to women.

There are some things that seem to have by pass God, it is said that the way how sin entered heaven is a Mystery. I supposed Homosexuality must have been a mystery also. What I do know according to the Christian believe paradise lost paradise gain. Man was God’s master piece ,He taught he was finished when he made man ,He however realized he was not finished because man seemed not to be doing well by himself alone. Here therefore made the superior master piece of all women. I supposed when he looked at woman he was more than pleased with himself and that became the weakest point of his creation.

If Satan really wanted to hit God where it really hurts it would be to turn man and woman from their natural attraction and affection for each other and he set out to do this with a vengeance. It is said that sin is inborn in man so one could say then that the natural propensity to be Homosexual could be inborn and was inherited with the fall of man.

However just as how man is expected with the help of Jesus Christ to overcome other sins, Homosexuals are expected to overcome this unnatural sin and should not throw their handsup in despair and accept it as a state that cannot changed. Jesus never came to earth and changed any sin that was originally classified as sin to an OK sin. He admonished us not to judge less when we think we stand we too become cast a way, because to be judging at this point in time can also be seen as a sin.

What He did do was to let individuals9 know that though their sin be as scarlet they can be made as white as snow, though they be red like crimson they can be as wool, He is full of great compassion and of endless love. He will forgive our transgression and remember them no more.

It is a very hard thing to get rid of homosexually and it will take a daily hourly, minute surrender and communion with Jesus Christ to get rid of it . People talk about the sin of adultery and fornication but these individuals are not trying to convince the world that these are right, they are also wrong and immoral but they are between the species that God intended it to be.

Pretty soon there will be people defending the act of bestiality and will want to convince the world that this act should be accepted as normal .This will be another one of Satan’s ploy, just because God spoke out against it.

I will not promote hatred against homosexual and violence because they are some of the nicest individuals I know having seen it my family too... But I will never accept is as right because I do see and understand that God is not please with it.

If homosexuals were to take over the world pretty soon there would be no world.

I used to think that men basically feared women or covet them for their looks and their ability to become mothers when I saw them taking over ear ring , hair styles , make up and women’s clothing. But then the ladies started to openly show their preference for their own sex and so I have lost my argument on the covetousness of men towards women. It seems as if the world is turned upside down and the roles of men and women are being reversed. Women are fast taking over the society holding many of the positions men held, and the only thing men can do to punish women and make them continue to feel inferior is to withdraw their affection.

But I suppose that they got the shock of their lives when they realize that women did not care one hoots as they too developed their own method of sexual survival. So now they are booth standing off on each other not wanting to recant or repent making a big thing out of some very insignificant thing like this article. The worst part of it is the great arch deceiver is having a field day while God must be bowing His head in sorrow, while angels veil their faces.
