Spiritual Answers from the Higher Self - A Divine Dialogue - Intro
Does this surprise you? This innate ability for spiritual contact?
This a 'How to do it' book
Divine Dialogue is a “how to” book. It is written both as an introduction to the phenomenon of Automatic Writing, and gives instructions as to how the reader can develop this skill for his or herself.
Unlike Neale Donald Walsch, with his famous Conversations with God series, where he started off with full blown conversations with what he calls God, most people who discover and develop this mode of spiritual contact, start off from more mundane levels. In the author’s case – and he’s been at it for a lot longer than Walsch- it started with a few unintelligible scribbles, gradually traversing a range of spiritual entities until, after several decades, conversations with Higher Self, or God, came into being.
Psychic abilities reside in us all
Yes, they really do. We all have psychic abilities, though in most of us they lie dormant.

This book will introduce you and, hopefully, enable you to take automatic writing
‘Divine Dialogue’ is an instructional or ‘how to do it’-type book designed to introduce the reader to Automatic Writing. By its reading, and by the practices it advocates, the reader is enabled to use this technique for his or her own spiritual development.
The book comprises a series of recorded conversations between Arthur Thomas Ware, the author’s ‘little self’ (referred to as ego in psychological literature) and ‘Higher Self,’ that part of us which is closest to God.
A great many books have been ‘dictated’ to authors via the phenomenon known as Automatic Writing. The most recent of these have been the best selling series, Conversations with God, Books 1, 2, and 3, Friendship with God, and Communion with God, by Neale Donald Walsch of the USA. Walsch took his first automatic communication in 1993. I’ve been at it since 1968.

The writer has had more than forty years experience in this type of communication
Divine Dialogue is the result of forty years of practice. During this time the author has taken down far more than a million words by this method. This book deals with his experiences in how to master the technique. Advice is given on what to do and, of equal importance, what not to do. And this advice comes not only from the author’s little self but from that part of him purporting to be God.
The work is quite short: A one-page introduction, fourteen chapters, and 36,000 words.
May the instructions in this book help you in communicating with- your Higher Self.
Athiest, believer or agnostic - which are you?
Some people don’t believe in God. People call them atheists. Some people do believe in God. They are called believers. Most people have a ‘bet each way.’ They are not sure. These people are called agnostics.
Atheists – if they pick up this book at all – will do it to refute its contents. Believers are likely not to believe. For it is probable they already have a particular type of God formulated –albeit nebulously- in their minds. For the rest of us there’s a chance. As an agnostic you can launch into this without commitment. In doing so, you are likely to get more out of it than those other two categories.
Is God really a "Him?"
If you are a believer, and subscribe to a particular faith, then the chances are that you will expect God to deliver His messages (It’s usually a Him) in particular ways. Maybe by records written hundreds or thousands of years ago. With most of our established religions nothing much seems to have happened since then. The odd miracle occurs. The odd canonization of a modern-day saint. But, generally, our believers are working with the ‘distant past.’
Were you to tell them that they can communicate with God right now they would be ‘thrown on their ear,’ so to speak.
Does God really answer back when we ask Him/Her/It questions?
“Now! Right now! No way! That’s nonsense. You can ask God for things. You can pray. But God ‘acts in mysterious ways.’ However, one of those ways is not ‘talking back to you.’ Prayers are a ‘one-way’ thing. Either God answers your prayers with actions, or He doesn’t.”
Atheists have closed minds about God. He just isn’t. And most of that other stuff like miracles, and ghosts, and surviving death and that sort of thing is all a lot of bull-dust. You’d be an idiot to think that a ‘Creator of the Universe,’ even if there was such a thing, would have the slightest interest in a particular human being- meaning you.
Believe in your psychic abilities- given them a chance to manifest
But for those of you who don’t have a closed mind, and for those of you who do not necessarily subscribe to the tenets of any particular religion, you might be surprised to know that ‘God is not dead.’ Even more incredible: He (or She, or It) does care about you –personally. And more incredible still:
You can hold a conversation with God.
Yes, you can hold a ‘two-way’ conversation with God. And record it. It is simply a matter of learning how it is done, and then taking it into practice.
This book deals with exactly this.
I hope you have enjoyed what you have read in Spiritual Answers from the Higher Self, a Divine Dialogue so far. These are, of course, only the introductory pages.
Keep smiling,
Tom.
