The HOLY BIBLE is The WORD OF GOD - It's The ONLY WORD That MATTERS!
In the Beginning... There was only The WORD!
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth... And GOD SAID ( He spoke His WORD ), let there be..." (Genesis 1:1,3+ KJV)
The WORD of GOD existed before all things created. It was His Word alone that was the spark of creation and set all things in the universe into motion. It is the result of the Lord's omnipotent power being transmitted from His thoughts and through His voice, to instantaneously becoming physically manifested.
"Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?" (Job 38:4-7 NIV)
The Word of God is evident in the physical universe. It established the laws of physics and it is His word that continues to be the binding force that maintains the continuity of all things in existence.
"You alone are the LORD; You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and everything on it, the seas and all that is in them, and You preserve them all. The host of heaven worships You." (Nehemiah 9:6 NKJV)
Therefore the written Word of God is also the result of the Lord's divine power conveying His inspired Holy Word into the minds of mankind. As they wrote these things in the Holy Scripture, the Word of God likewise retained a connection to the power and glory of its original source, the Lord God himself.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1 KJV)

SEE the "Language of God" - The "WORD of GOD"
- Where did The HOLY BIBLE originate from ? (Part I)
We are meant to understand that The Holy Bible IS the actual "Word of God", divinely inspired and written by the Holy Spirit through man. To see this (without just sheer Faith alone) we must then look at the Bible in its complete context historically
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jesus Christ - The Messiah
Emmanuel - "GOD with Us"
"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." (Matthew 1:23 KJV)
The Christian faith was established by the early followers of Jesus of Nazareth. They were the apostles and disciples who patterned themselves and what they taught, after the example shown by Christ and the teachings of His ministry, as the prophesied Messiah and the son of the one true God.
"That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."(Colossians 2:2-3 KJV)
The background and history of Christ's followers was formed by many generations of refined practice and devotion, worshiping the God of the Hebrew people (Yahweh or YHWH). In fact, the earliest converts were referred to in scripture as the "Jewish Christians", who worshiped in the existing synagogues of the day and traveled from town to town evangelizing and converting others over from the Jewish faith. This is because the message that they taught was based entirely on the Holy Scripture, the inspired "Word of God", as it had come to be known by the Hebrew people and all devout Jews. This was the same script that was used by the Rabbi's for many generations to teach and lead their people. Jesus was likewise many times referred to as "Rabbi" or "teacher".
The main difference in this newer understanding of the faith, was the acceptance that Jesus Christ (Christ meaning "anointed one") was in fact the prophesied "Messiah" as foretold in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). He had come to serve the purpose of God the Father, to establish a "New Covenant" with His people, the children of Israel. Jesus mentored His disciples and practiced His ministry amongst the people of Judaea for three years, before He was led to fulfill His ultimate purpose by becoming the "Lamb of God" and being sacrificed on the cross. His shed blood was the act that sealed the New Covenant and allowed the Lord's grace to be fully extended into all the world (to also include the "gentiles" or foreigners), so that all of mankind could be "saved" from death and have everlasting life in the Lord's future Kingdom of Heaven (John 5:24; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:21; Acts 4:12; Romans 5:9; Romans 10:9).
Therefore, Jesus Christ the Messiah, Emmanuel ("God with Us"), is the direct manifestation of the "Word of God" in the flesh here in this world and universe.
"...and His name is called The Word of God." (Revelation 19:13 NKJ)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The HOLY SCRIPTURE
Therefore the Word of God as found in the Holy Scripture is the basis and foundation for all of Christianity and Judaism. The scripture of the "Old Testament" (in the TaNaKh or "Hebrew Bible") was later appended by the writings of Christ's apostles and closest disciples. They well documented what the Lord Jesus had taught along with the divine revelation of their own experiences as led by the Holy Spirit, in founding the early Church of the New Covenant (the "Body of Christ") which would later become Christianity.
These volumes of text are what would become known as the gospels (the "good news" about Christ the Messiah) and the "New Testament", which when combined with the Holy Scripture of the Hebrew teachings, now represents the inspired "Word of God" as found in the complete Christian Bible.
But, the living "Word of God" in the Holy Bible is not just meant simply as a representative accounting of the chosen people of God and disciples of Christ. It has much greater meaning and actual application in our daily lives as well as other unique qualities that transcend traditional spirituality.
REVELATION - The Revealing of the "Mystery of God"
Thus, the Holy Bible (the Old and New Testaments) is none other than the "Word of God" as portrayed through the writings of scripture and as revealed by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:20-21).It was through this REVELATION in the Holy Spirit, that the inspired "Living Word" of God was thus delivered to the original prophets and carried on by their oral tradition, to then be written down by the authors of the Holy Bible.
"For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." (Galatians 1:12 KJV)
It is likewise through the understanding of the Word of God and this divine revelation, that we are given a glimpse into things of a spiritual nature directly from the Lord God and our Father in Heaven (Ephesians 1:17-19; Ephesians 3:2-7).
"Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen." (Romans 16:25-30 KJV)

The WORD of GOD is Strength for the Faithful
Revelation through the Word of God manifests itself in many ways. Not only did the Holy Spirit provide this revelation to the original authors of the Holy Scripture itself but it is also through the Spirit, that further revelation is provided when we spend time prayerfully reading in the Word of God ourselves.
This is yet another method by which the Lord God will communicate to us. He can impart knowledge and guide us directly in our lives using His written word. This may be done through the specific revelations that the Word of God can convey and reveal to us that are unique in our situation or circumstances. As such, it is an ongoing and living conduit of God’s divine power that manifests itself into the world. Look at following scripture for example:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” (John 1:1-3 NKJ)
This shows us that the “Word of God” is not only alive but is actually a part (referred to as “He”) of the nature of God himself. Then John goes on to further describe:
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14 NKJ)
So we can see, that not only did “the WORD” become flesh by way of it manifesting itself into the personae of the “Son of God”, but that the “living word” continues to be the spoken power of the Lord God. That is why what we read and speak through the Holy Scriptures (the “Word of God”) can have such a powerful impact on how it physically manifests into our lives. This is why praying aloud (versus silent reflection) is such a powerful tool for reaching out to the Lord and having Him hear our requests. It is why the Lord enjoys for us to audibly praise and worship him out loud. The "Word" carries weight when it is openly professed and everything that is spoken outwardly into the atmosphere has an impact.
“For the word of God is ALIVE and ACTIVE. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” (Hebrews 4:12-13 NIV)
The fact that the "Word of God" is alive and active should tell us something about why we should be more "in tune" with what it says. Thus it is important for us to read and study on a regular basis in allowing the Lord to work His purpose through us.
Also, with our unique relationship in God's creation being created in "His own image", this likewise gives our own words "weight" when spoken outwardly. That is why what we profess into the atmosphere (verbally speaking out loud) can have such a forceful effect (good or bad). We can bless people's lives by what we say and speak about them. Just as easily, we can say the wrong thing and curse someone, causing them harm as well. This is another example where even our own words can act like that "double-edged sword".
Not only can the Word of God weigh heavy on our own hearts and convict us of our sins, but we need to hold our ground spiritually in life and stand firm on what the Holy Scripture also instructs and reveals to us. What the word is also confirming and teaching us, is that this "double-edged sword" can work many ways. It does not only have one purpose. It can be wielded "back and forth" like a true weapon. It IS the “Living Holy Word of God” and He has given us this “sword” to use in our own defense for a reason. Similarly to a real sword, the Word of God it is a weapon that can be used against the adversary of God (evil). It has the power to rebuke evil and it can also be wielded to protect us and deflect against attack.
But, the Word of God is also a very “sharp” and two-edged device just like any real sword. We must learn and train with “the WORD” frequently in order to become proficient in it. It can be used to bestow the Lord’s blessings or we can accidentally be “cut” by it when improperly used. This is why what we do and how we use the "Living Word of God" are so important. We cannot abuse the word that God has given us or use it improperly.
It cannot be overemphasized how the things that we speak into the atmosphere are so vitally important. We can inadvertently cause ourselves and those around us to stumble just as easily as we can bring hope, encouragement and strength into our respective lives by what we speak into them. It is through a thorough understanding of the Word of God and how we learn to use own our words that we can make a difference.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The WORD of GOD is Truth and The Lord's Eternal Will
The "WORD" is a reverent teaching resource, not only for those that lived in the time when it was conceived, but as a valuable guide for understanding God and His will for us in all future generations to come (Psalm 117:2; 1 Peter 1:25).
"For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and HIS TRUTH endureth to all generations." (Psalm 100:5 KJV)
The Holy Scriptures have great mysteries that can be revealed to us if we yet take the patience to give it the honor and time that it deserves. It is the power and will of our Lord God conveyed directly into the physical world. No other manuscript in the history of mankind has been abused, attacked, refuted, dismissed, had its meaning twisted, its validity questioned, or otherwise been completely ignored; yet, it has still managed to survive for thousands of years and its the most published and well circulated text in all of history in spite of these things. That alone should say something in itself to lend credence to the origin of the "Word of God". The "Word" will ALWAYS prevail! Its power and purpose are manifold and it is intrinsically woven into the fabric of all things, past, present and future forever.
"YOUR WORD, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for ALL THINGS serve you." (Psalm 119:89-91 NIV)
The Word of God provides divine inspiration and spiritual comfort for anyone that believes in its source as the inspired Word of God from the Lord. It is instrumental in the lives of its believers and all those who hold its true depth and meaning sincere. Nothing else in all creation can compare to it and nothing can stand against it.
"So shall MY WORD be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11 NKJ)
Through the Holy Spirit, the Word of God provides life, renewal of the heart and peace of mind. Through our belief in Jesus Christ the "living Word of God" in the flesh, we also are granted grace and salvation, so that all people may be "saved" and guaranteed a new life with the Lord God in the future for all eternity (John 3:16; Romans 5:9; 10:9-13). Thus the living Word of God will infinitely continue on, even to extend beyond the boundaries and limits of all time.
"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY WORDS shall not pass away." (Matthew 24:35; Mark 13:31; Luke 21:33 KJV)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The HOLY BIBLE - The WORD of GOD
GOD's "Blueprint" for Our Lives
In fact, the "Word of God" is probably more relevant today that it ever was in the past. Thus, the Holy Bible is literally the "owner's manual" for mankind as provided by our Heavenly Father. It shows us how to perfectly serve God and how to have healthy productive lives while living here on Earth, but more importantly, it also reveals the Lord God's plan for us and how we (as His "lost" children) can return to His family and have everlasting life in the future with Him. These things are truly the purpose and miracle of the Holy Bible as the "living word" that spiritually speaks to us from the Lord God's own heart and mind.
"The WORD that God puts in my mouth, that I must speak... I could not go beyond the WORD of the LORD, to do good or bad of my own will. What the LORD says, that I must speak." (Numbers 22:38; 24:13 NKJ)
If no other instruction, system of laws, philosophy on life, doctrine of spirituality, or written volumes about the history of mankind is ever consulted, the Holy Bible (the inspired "Word of God") is really the only text that is necessary or needed for review. It allows us to live out our lives more fully and in a righteous manner as we are present here in this world, while also preparing us for the life we will have in the coming Kingdom of the Lord.
"ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPIRATION OF GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16 KJV)
This is why we firmly state:
The WORD OF GOD - IT'S THE ONLY WORD THAT MATTERS!
"We also have the prophetic message as SOMETHING COMPLETELY RELIABLE, and you will do well to PAY ATTENTION TO IT, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts." (2 Peter 1:19 NIV)

The Holy Scripture predicts ahead of time what we are seeing today. That the "Word of God" would be variously translated, misinterpreted and molded to suit the needs of mankind, and not necessarily in proper accordance with what the Lord had intended
