Our life stages are unique. Kathy enjoys sharing her thoughts and stages through her writing and looks forward to learning about yours.

He Died For Me, For you, For us!

Dear Jesus, Lord

The King of Kings

Come humbly I

This sinner sings

There are no words

For me to say

But praise is Yours

Lord, on that day

You gave your life

Upon that cross

So I could live

Not to be lost

A sheep was I

So lost and bleak,

You drew me close

Thus now I weep

And at your feet

I bow and pray

I look to You

I hear You say

Forgive them, Lord,

For they know not

The sins that bog them

Down to rot

Fear not, my child

I am here

And on this cross

Your sins I’ll bear

My blood will flow

And thus, you’ll reap

So trust in Me

This promise keep

As you know

The flesh is weak

But leave your chains.

For now, I -sleep

And as I do

Hold close to Me

For after death

On the day of three

The stone will roll

And I will be

The resurrected

Life and see

All those who come

To know and love

That death to self

And Glory of

The righteous King

upon His throne

Has paid the price

for you to own

For eternity

For those that place

Their faith in Thee

Dear Jesus, Lord

The King of Kings

Come humbly I

This sinner sings,

There are no words

For everything

As of now, I’ve heard

And thus I sing

The beauty of

This sacrifice

You made in love

You paid the price

So on this day

I humbly pray

Because of sins

That washed away

And yes, I sing

A song of praise

For You, my King

The only way

To truth and life

The light of day

The end of strife

That came this day

Dear Jesus, Lord

The King of Kings

Come humbly I

This sinner sings

And I will share

The story of

My precious Savior

Up above

Extending down

His grace to thee

With open arms

For all to see

The beauty in

His perfect love

One day to share

In glory of

His Kingdom there

in paradise

I pledge my love

Surrendered life

To praise my God

For all my life

To honor Thee

Amongst this strife

Dear Jesus, Lord

My King of Kings

come humbly I

This sinner sings

How I will weep

Until that day

For now,

I am so far away.

But close in heart

will I remain

To do my part

to wash the stain

Upon the earth

With love’s imprint

For there’s no worth

In sinners stint

You paid it all

That we may live

When from the cross

The words You give

No longer lost

No longer enslaved person

I Am the cost

The price spent, HIS!

This excerpt from “At The Foot Of The Cross” by Kathryn Scott

“At the foot of the cross Where grace and suffering meet You have shown me Your love Through the judgment You received, and You’ve won my heart. Now I trade these ashes in for beauty And wear forgiveness like a crown coming to kiss the feet of mercy, I lay every burden down, at the foot of the cross!”

At the foot of the cross where I am made complete!!!!

Take a moment to listen to the song below -

Matthew 27:32-61

Read (Matthew 27:32-61); you will learn how Jesus suffered, died, and buried there. They shed his most precious blood for all humanity.

Yes, our flesh is weak as many in society balk at His provision, with our world slipping to a grave narcissism.

The complaints and arguing attempt to drown out the peace and joy of this mourning. All that is needed is still knowing that He is God, the way, the truth, and the life.

Our flesh is weak but forgiven and set free by His unfailing love.
