The 4 Four-Faced Beings
The 4 Four-Faced Beings
Isaiah 28:9-12 reads:
9 Whom shall he [God] teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk [man's teachings], and drawn from the breasts [man teachers].
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
Background Information
Ezekiel 1:10 has four and Revelation 4:7 has one four-faced beings with one face being like a lion, one like a man, one like a ox in Ezekiel and calf in Revelation with the fourth being an eagle that is flying in Revelation. When we understand Ezekiel's whole dialog we find the four faces are on the four sides of the beings so as one go around them they will see a different face. Because the Bible is a book revealing the plight of man on earth, what else can the being represent except man. So allow me to interpret how Revelation's being represents today’s man.
The Bible indicates civilization began in the eastward part of earth, east is where the sunrises and if we apply that to civilization’s beginning it suggests Asians we now call yellow-man who began civilization. Relating them to a year they are the yellow-green budding of plants in spring.
The Bible then gives us the Land of Nod as being where Cain went. Nod means to sleep and wake up often and relative to the history of the land called Americas it would mean the land was founded and forgotten many times, thus, we have the Natives of the Americas who represent the red ripe fruit of a year's summer.
After the flood and tower of Babel the Bible presents Abraham who produced a man of color, Ishmael, and a colorless man, Isaac. It was Sarah’s disdain for Ishmael who was conceived by her Egyptian servant that Abraham produced a man of color, today’s Middle Eastern man. Isaac’s first born, Edom, is today's Africans who being a outdoorsman the sun darkened is the fall of the year. Isaac’s fair-skinned son, Jacob who stayed in a tent became fair skinned or the white snow of winter that destroys everything except evergreen plants as the symbol of everlasting life. They had struggled in the womb as seen throughout history for revealing Jacob is the last of man to enter earth's governing position. And by that understanding we can realize the four beings’ four faces represents one of those four ethnics biblically revealed and four season of the year.
The Faces
Common knowledge reveals a lion is the king of beast or Jungle making its face to represent the most exalted of man. Because Ezekiel testifies to there being four beasts suggests they represent the four man ethnics. So according to the foregoing the first of our history were Asians with the lion’s face. They were followed by the American Natives who were followed by the Africans and finally Europeans.
I could speculate on the exact position of the four beings but since I don’t have any historical records to support it I can only reveal accurately which man is in what position today.
Today the Europeans wear the face of the lion is why they consider themselves the first world as the world comes to its final days if existing. Sense they consider Asians as man less than themselves Asians wear the face of a man. Africans are preyed upon by the Lion and Man who enslaved Africans and had them to sell other into slavery [Esau's birthright], harvest Ivory and other products use to enrich Europeans and use Asians to harvest African’s body parts. And finally, the history of the Americas’ being taken over this last time by Europeans by killing or displacing them make them the fleeing eagle revealed in Revelation.
Those are the types, as you can see, are recognizable as seasons days and years as the creation story admonished all who desire to understanding our plight on earth.
