The Bible prophecies Islam :the liberation of Mecca by 10,000 Muslims

Updated on October 23, 2012

"There is no compulsion in religion, it can take a man many years or only minutes.
It is God who decides the time. So respect his doubts."1

When the Meccan polytheists drove the messenger of God,Mohamed(peace be upon him) and his followers out of Mecca,they thought that, by that action, the radiant rays of Islam would fade eventually slowly over time and then the Muslims would never come back again to their place of birth.They were way off the beam.The place El Medina,an old oasis town situated 450 kilometers north of Mecca, where the Muslims sought refuge opened a new era for the message of Islam and its eventual expansion over the Arabian Peninsula and centuries later over the countries nearby.

Connectively,it is worth mentioning that after the Meccan failure of the siege of El Madina to dislodge Mohamed(peace be upon him) and impede the progress of Islam,many tribes of Arabian Peninsula started to convert to Islam and emigrate to El Madina to offer themselves as human shield.Consequently,the Qurayshians lost their trade in the north and prestige among the Arabs.In the other side, the Muslims became outnumbered and thriving in their new land.

Accordingly,the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him decided to liberate the Holy City of Mecca from the yoke of idolatry,especially after he saw himself in vision visiting Mecca and performing pilgrimage “Certainly has Allah showed to His Messenger the vision in truth. You will surely enter al-Masjid al-Haram, if Allah wills, in safety, with your heads shaved and [hair] shortened, not fearing [anyone]. He knew what you did not know and has arranged before that a conquest near [at hand].” (Quran 48:27)2.

The vision that God showed to his Messenger in the above verses are a part of revelation and not a personal experience,that some people might think,that a Prophet(peace be upon him) brings forth from within himself.The story of Abraham with his son Ismail (peace be upon them) demonstrates that all the dreams of God s messengers are visions given by God to them that must be acted upon:

"And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." ( Quran 37:102)

Like Abraham(peace be upon him),Mohamed (peace be upon him) acted upon the vision and immediately gathered his followers and headed to the holy city without holding swords or red flags ,despite of the enmity of the Meccans ,because God made a promise to the Messenger and his companions that they would enter Mecca’s sacred Mosque safely.

At the Mecca s main gate, Meccan polytheists stopped Muslim pilgrimages and forced the prophet to sign a peaceful treaty which,accordingly,they have to retrace steps back to Medina till next year they would be able to come and visit.

When the year had passed,the ten thousands of His holy ones(saints) embarked on a peaceful journey to Mecca and then they conquered it without shedding any drop of blood .The Bible's Old Testament prophesied this historical event .Let us look at the following Verse from the English Standard Version (ESV):

“14 It was also about these that Enoch(the prophet Idris,peace be upon him, in Arabic), the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones, 15 to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” (Jude 1:14-15)

The same prophecy was held by Moses(peace be upon him) after Enoch(peace be upon him):

2 He said,

“The Lord came from Sinai

and dawned from Seir upon us;

he shone forth from Mount Paran(Mecca);

he came from the ten thousands of holy ones,

with flaming fire at his right hand“ (English Standard Version (ESV) ,Deuteronomy 33:2).

According to Islamic history,It was Mohamed (peace be upon him)who liberated Mecca and brought its inhabitants from the dark abyss of darkness(Idolatry) to the light of worshipping One True Living God.No prophet before him had established the kingdom of God in Mecca by the help of 10,000 of Believers.Don t you think that Islam is the true and last religion of God??

      The political split after the death of the great messenger of God,Mohamed peace be upon him is not a reasonable measure by which to judge the authenticity of Mohamed peace be upon him.

      (And if their turning away is hard on you, then if you can seek an opening (to go down) into the earth or a ladder (to ascend up) to heaven so that you should bring them a sign and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have gathered them all on guidance, therefore be not of the ignorant)Quran 6:35

      Allah could have created everyone a believer and guide us not to err or sin. But he did not. Instead he granted us free will to choose for our selves to become believers. If God created all of us believers then this life would not be a test any more.Everyone is responsible about his misdeeds,no one will be charged by others mistakes or sins and no one will take burdens from them.

      This certainly has nothing to do with my comment.

      In Islam,Ruling is based on Shura or consultation.The great messenger of God,Mohammad peace be upon him never in his life imposed on his companions his own opinions in variety of occasions.There is clear mention of Shura in the Holy Qur’an which, amongst other definitions, outlines it as a method by which consensus can be achieved thus preventing ideological deadlocks which ultimately lead toward sin and disunity, for almighty Allah surely says:

      ’And those, who hearken to their Lord, and observe Prayer, and whose affairs are decided by mutual consultation, and who spend out of what We have provided for them’’

      Explaining this verse Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih II says that it sets out the principle of governance for which the temporal Islamic state is to be based upon. Writing in his Tafsir-ul-Kabir Huzur notes:

      ‘’This verse lays down (mutual consultation) as the basic principle which should guide Muslims in the transaction of their national affairs. This simple word contains the nucleus of a representative form of government of which the West is so proud. The Khalifa or Head of the Islamic State is bound to take counsel with the representatives of the people when he is to take a decision of vital national importance.’’

      Aicha may Allah bless her soul says:‘’The Holy Prophet was most solicitous in consulting others in all matters of importance’

      He left it to the muslims to shoos his predecessor and on the contrary to what you said that he didnt forsee the problem of fitna(split) that would arise after his death.He predicted that his followers would become divided into seventy-three sects, every one of whom would go to hell, except one sect, the religion professed by himself and his companions and historically speaking,it is recorded that once the prophet peace be upon him told once to Salman perisian that he would be killed by wrong muslim party and in the end of ruling of Ali may Allah bless him he was killed by wrong party.As talking here about prophecy,let me illustrate to you something you might never heard of:

      Amr b. Awf stated, "I Salman, Hudhayfa, al-Nu-man b. Muqarrin and six of the ansar were working on forty arms lengths of the trench. We dug on until we reached al-Nada, where we came across a huge, white rock. It broke our metal tools and gave us great difficulty. So Salman went to the Messenger of God (SAAS) who was then in a Turkish pavilion, and told him of it. He came and took the pickaxe from Salman and struck the rock so hard it split. From it there came a flash of light so strong as to illuminate all the way between the two lava field- (at both ends) of Medina, that is. It was like a great lantern on a very dark night. The Messenger of God (SAAS) invoked God's greatness, saying Allahu Akbar, ?God is the most Great', as at a victory, and the Muslims did so as well. He then struck it again and the same thing happened, a third time with same result. Salman and the Muslims asked the Messenger of God (SAAS) what the light meant. He replied, ?From the first, the castles of al-Hira and cities of Chosroe were lit up to be seen like the fangs of dogs. Gabriel announced to me that my nation would be victorious over them. From the second, the red castles of Byzantium were illuminated, as though they were the fangs of dogs; Gabriel announced to me that my nation would be victorious over them. From the third, the castles of Sana were lit up like the fangs of dogs; Gabriel announced to me that my nation would be victorious over them. So be joyful at this news!' the Muslims were delighted, and said, ?Praise be to God! A true Omen!'

      Basically you have three prophecies being made here, that the Muslims would be victorious over the Persians, Byzantines, and the Yemenis.

      The prophet Muhammad made these prophecies during the digging of the trench, which took place right before the battle of the Trench. In fact notice that the hypocrites thought the prophecies were so outrageous and ludicrous because the Muslims were digging themselves in a trench to defend themselves against the pagans, yet the prophet Muhammad is saying they will conquer the Persians and the Byzantines, the two strongest empires in the regions!

      Just like the prophet prophesized the prophecies fell into place. The Muslims conquered the Persians by 651, and had conquered the Byzantines by 638. Yemen had also come under Muslim control by 630.What do you think? is it still funny?

      Mohammad couldn't even forsee that there would be a problem when he died because he didn't declare who would take over at that time. Now Islam is split because of Mohammad's lack of foresight to name his predecessor. To the point that these Islamic factions will kill each other over it.
