The Lord's Invitation
Jesus said COME and I'll give you rest, this is an invitation for all who want to be with our Lord Jesus at the end time, what a great blessing this will be when we are caught up to be with Him for eternity.
If you are thirsty come and drink water! if you don't have money still come, eat what you like, drink wine and milk without paying a cent, where on earth can you feel free to eat and drink all that you want.
But! when Jesus says this to us why are so many hesitating to receive what He has to offer to them.
He said we can eat all we like and drink what you like, and to sit down at the same table as Jesus what a great feeling that will be.
When we go to celebrations we are on our best behavior, well dressed, polite to many, careful not to offend others, but Jesus calls us to go as we are, all broken, all worn out, all untidy, He will accept us as we are not with any frills.
And when we accept the invite we will be given nothing but the best foods and best wines.
Jesus says He loves us, He has made a way for us to follow, that way leads right to the heavenly Father,
When we are set free we will travel home in peace.
Our holy God lives forever in the highest heavens, and this is what he says: Though I live high above in the holy place, I am here to help those who humble and depend only on me.
The Lord will always guide you and provide good things, He will make you healthy and like a stream that never runs dry.
The Lord has not lost His powerful strength, he still can hear and answer prayers.
