The Love Of A Brother/Sister
- Romans 15:30
I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me. - 2 Corinthians 13:11
[ Final Greetings ] Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. - Galatians 5:13
[ Life by the Spirit ] You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh ; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
How do we hear God?
We hear Him through His Word and through other Christian's love for Him and us.
How do you treat your brothers and sisters in the Lord?
Are you more involved in one or two's life
or do you just single out one or do you love all?
Some can tell how some of us single out one or two and leave the rest,
the Lord says all of us are to love every single brother and sister in
the Lord and do what we can for them in prayer and in all area's.
Have you felt left out lately?
Philippians 4:1
- [ Closing Appeal for Steadfastness and Unity ] Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends!
The verse above is showing how Paul tells his brothers and sisters how
he loves them and longs for them, he says they are his joy and crown..
How do you feel about your brothers and sisters in the Lord?
Do we long for each others well being do we love them with our hearts?
Do we keep them longing for a word or do we keep them waiting and wondering?
In Galatians it says to serve one another humbly in love.
To be served humble in love would be wonderful wouldn't it..
I know I would love to be served in love ..for someone to love me just the way I am..
I love to write to inspire others..lately there has been so much going on in my life and in my health.
A lot of times I feel left out yes, but I'm out there to inspire and to please God.
Sometimes do you feel left out?
Everyone at times I'm sure feels left alone.
I see things coming into my email box from newsletters to prayer needs.
Some don't even mention my need or they have something to say that hurts
our hearts and makes us stumble, isn't there somewhere in the Word that
says do not make your brother stumble?
Let's see..
know that I'm just using me as a example
I don't want to use someone else and hurt them.
1 Corinthians 10:32
Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God—
1 John 2:10
Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble.
I say we search our hearts and before we speak we pray
words may come out that we didn't want to say and we hurt our brothers and sisters in Christ.
So let's listen to the hurting christian's and let's be humble in our words that we speak.
