Learning How To Fish

The waters are plentious but the catch is few.
The waters are plentious but the catch is few.

I Will Make You Fishers of Men

Hello everyone, I will start this hubpage simply by saying a short prayer, Lord, my God, you alone hold the powers of all things that be, this day. Help me to be in Your will and to go out in the World to help others know the passion and the love in which you operate in. May one soul be washed, if not many today, may one heart or many be touched by Your loving hands. Guide me to share the love I have for You with that one person who is needing uplifted by You, in Jesus Holy name I pray.

During quite time with the Lord this morning, I was inspired to yet try to create a message to share with others that would be 99% Truth, easily understood by many, inspiring and reviving to the work that the Lord God has put us here to do. I'll let the reader be the critic deciding whether I have achieved this or not.

Matthew 4:19 ; Jesus Christ says, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men."

Does it get much simpler than that?

Jesus was telling the disciples, I will teach you, the way that my Father would have you go,to win the souls of sinful man unto me, that they may be saved. By the way, salvation is free to you and me. Jesus has paid the price in full. Praise His Glorious name!

Now in Luke 5: 1-9, The real fishing and a miracle is performed so that those people who were gathering to here Jesus's wondrous ministering would know that, He is the Son of God, made flesh. Jesus told, Simon, launch out into the deep waters, let down your nets for a catch. Simon, having fished all evening was skeptical of doing this and questioned Him, as to why should he at this point. However Simon being of some faith in the Master Fisherman (Jesus) did as requested.

Shortly thereafter, Simon began to notice a huge school of fish had gathered round about the ship and had to call to others to assist in hauling in the nets. This astonished Simon and caused him to fall at Jesus's feet and repent of his disbelief in the Holy Man, Jesus Christ.

A similar version of the story is recorded in John 21;1-12

All throughout the Gospels, Jesus's message was about teaching brothers and sisters alike, be strong in faith, believe in the Almighty Father, creator of the universe and everything that is their in. Be loving and caring of each other in actions and by your speech also, do not judge one another for it is not our place to do such. Abide by the laws which have been passed on from generation to generation from  the time of God speaking them to Moses.

Jesus the greatest minister to people has overcome every pain and affliction that this life we live carries with it and He request that we should rely on His words to also overcome them.

We do well to trust in His words and help others to come to them and be at rest.

There is another passage in the Old Testament which speaks of Life-Giving Waters and what they would do for man, Ezekiel 47:9-10

Remember what Jesus Christ said, Where there are two of you or more gathered, in the midst there also I shall be.

Old wise tale goes something like this; Take a man fishing feed him for a day, teach a man to fish, feed a family for life. It is all of ours responsibility to tell everyone of the good news, Christ Jesus has died for you and me and is now in the Holy Spirit and in the Glory of God waiting for us to call on Him for the help we need to make it through our trials in life.

Thank you all for reading my story and hopefully this message does not offend those seeking to be closer to Jesus Christ. I was uplifted writing it and you the reader may feel uplifted upon reading it. God is awesome!
