The Rules of God are Love

Be certain I believe God is Love. I did years in Sunday school. I learned the Rules of God. I was a Boy Scout and learned more rules of God. I spent several years getting a degree in philosophy and learned the rules of God. I sang in a choir and learned the rules of God. Believe this or not but I studied the laws of man to get a doctorate in law as an attorney and learned more about the rules God. I preached and learned more about the rules of God.

Let us just say I know the rules of God. And there are many rules but the only one is to Love that is a commandment.

Jesus was quite clear on this in Matthew 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

And I rightfully move to 1 John 4:7 God’s Love and Ours

7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

And I just bust out with love for even my coffee cup. I speak and write in words and quote the Bible in most instances. But those who know my love of God know of the verses in my words.

Gifts are given us. I am not gifted in so much but I am gifted in love. Perhaps the finest gift of all. Please do not judge me harshly for I have not been given the ability for script quote much. And I have studied from Buddha to Plato. I have taken in the wonderment of Navajo and Hopi notions of God. I have gone into the places of Russian Orthodox and Roman Catholic religions but they are weak as religions. The only true faith is love.

Study, study and study some more. And you will conclude that the only God is Love.

So bend ye neck and bend thy mind. This the truth that you will find. Love one another and your will see. God is love in you and me. We need not look to heaven above. We must look in our heart for to find love. We are not called to demean. In love we trust and do lean. I have no fear in pending death. For I shall love with my last breath. A calling for you and me. In love we always be. You are wise as the setting sun. So your love has begun. Do not look upon my words. Raise your heart to love towards.

Upon this day I hope that maybe one person finds the favor in their heart to love. To be true I do not really intellectually get it. It escapes me. I have just been taught it, and I can only explain that love has taught me to love. Tiny drops in blood have not been felt for love made them melt away.

Thy kingdom come onto earth as it is in our ever present heaven. Those who love are not of earth. Oh sure they live here. And that to me is heaven in the presence of love. You and I can live in love. That is the greatest gift of all.
