The Story of Aadi Kavi Balmiki who became Maharshi from Dacoit Ratnakar
Before becoming Maharshi Balmiki the previous life was full of criminal history. He was a dangerous dacoit. He snatched the money and luggage from passersby.
Once Devrishi Narad passed by that place where Ratnakar was looted the passersby. Ratnakar Dacoit stopped him and threatened him to give each and everything that he had.
Devrishi Narad advised him to give up this work. Nobody would divide your Karmas. He had to pay the account of his Karmas alone. You may kill me but ask your family first who would be your partner of your Karmas.
As a dacoit he didn't believe in his speaking. He tied him with a tree and went to his house and asked for their partnership in his bad Karmas and its results. The family members' answer was no. From this wording he was compelled to think that he had done a great mistake. He returned back and release Devrishi Narad and ask for pardon.
Devrishi Narad advised him to stop dacoit and in compensation to be devotee of God and ask forgiveness through meditation.
Ratnakar did Tapasya for many years. He was so indulged in meditation that he had forgotten himself.
A big mount of Ant hill was made by ants on the body of Ratnakar. He was not seen by anyone. Only Ant hill was seen.
In Sanskrit this Ant hill is called Bambi. By making Bambi all around his body by Ants Ratnakar was called Balmiki. Now he was transformed into scholar and had many gifts gifted by God.
Devrishi Narad advised him to write Mahakavya as he had been transformed into a big scholar. He also motivated to write Ramayan into Sanskrit Mahakavya.
He wrote a Ramayan with twenty four thousands verses in Sanskrit. He was called Aadi Kavi. After transformation he made an Aashram at the bank of Ganga river. Devi Sita the wife of Shri Ram lived there in the Aashram of Balmiki. The children Lov and Kush of Shri Ram were born in his Aashram.
Mahakavya Ramayan was completed before the incidents linked with Ramayan Character's took place.
If God does not differentiate between cast and creed then why the contractors of religion do all disputes for their self interest.
