The Tower Of Babel-Global Consciousness [Part 2]
Let us descend and confuse their language so that one will not understand the language of his companion
Before language became ‘encrypted’, it was simply ‘coded’.
A cornerstone of power is the deliberate ‘confusion des esprits’, confusing the minds of people, through gaps and silences, selective misinformation and personal interpretations.
Only the intelligentsia is in the know – or partial know.
Priests, rabbis, imans, popes, super-ingenious internet shapers and noble warlords excel in the art of secret language, as well.
No differently than Polari, Pig Latin and Leet, coded languages enable persons in the know to communicate secretly with each other, even if within earshot of others.
Then as now, whether altruistic, narcissistic or self-centered, movers and shakers, leaders at the highest echelons of all major industries, economy, world politics and Defense have also always their coded ‘secret language’.
Their agenda gets pushed downstream to the masses through a reliable system of manipulation of thoughts based on the fear of missing out, fear of the other and greed.
‘Plebe, desist from trying to follow the plot’, is the bottom line message coming from each of the pinnacles at the top of the world in which we live. ‘Go to work. Eat, drink, and sleep.
Do what you can to find someone to love. Who knows, you might even be loved in return. Either way, lust after a mountain of products advertised on all your screens.
Do your best to spend more than you can earn in any given year and leave the rest to us. You're in safe hands. We have your best interest - and that of our country - at heart.'
Love, too, has its secret language and so do hatred, resentment and paranoia.
And the Lord descended
'And the Lord descended to see the city and the tower that the sons of man had built. And the Lord scattered them from there upon the face of the entire earth, and they ceased building the city.'
In all seriousness now and all biblical narrative aside
For many of us in the cohort of 7 billion souls interconnected across the globe, the time to make the most of life [in the ways most familiar to us] is running out.
The younger our children and grandchildren are, the less time they will have to adapt to inevitable and drastic social changes.
Even if the writing is not on any proverbial wall, it is most definitely in the air all around.
Effects affect ripples
Beyond the Butterfly effect and its chaos theory, the Maharishi effect has great traction in some milieu.
It can be adapted to suggest that if only 1% of the people in the zone in which we live became conscious of the connection between emotions, heart, thoughts and the brain; if they addressed their own emotions with full consciousness, we would all feel some ripple benefits of their rethinking.
The critical mass of influence, let’s say within a squadron, a club, a firm, a crew, a campus, a team, an industry - or regarding any social issue - is said to occur when 25% of the persons involved begin to act differently - for better or for worse.
The question begging is how to gear up to become an active part of that percentage of persons who, awake and aware, become more admiring of one’s emotional intelligence than of one’s IQ, one’s body, one’s power or of one’s degree of wealth?
That gradation of evolved consciousness would slide us and our nearest web of humanity closer to experiencing the unity that is already invisibly woven across the globe.
Our enhanced consciousness would merely make our 'humanity' more tangible.
Like, why resist?
Seriously, it is no longer a well-kept secret that gratitude helps bring about a higher degree of happiness.
However infinitesimal it might feel at first, like a seedling it grows through time and effort of the right sort.
The flow-on effect leads to improved health as the nervous system, less flooded by cortisol, settles into a calmer pace away from the hyperarousal of the fight or flight response system. Which leads to repaired relationships through a shift in our trigger emotions.
Our personality and our productivity are enhanced.
All of that conspires to bring about a sort of ‘abundance’ of much-improved outcomes.
Imagining is easy
Forty-five years ago, John Lennon imagined a world in which there was
Nothing to kill or die for - And no religion too. Imagine all the people living life in peace.
Unfortunately, we already know that life is not perfect and that we cannot live in a bubble away from toxic people. From near or far, unsavoury folk will always insinuate themselves into our lives.
In all probability, there have been times when we have been such a toxic, negative person ourselves once we had insinuated ourselves into someone’s life.
Chances are we still feel the pain.
Sure! Put simply, whether victim or perpetrator, the energy that has been released 'out there' comes around, calibrated measure for measure.
So, what if we knew how to teach our children, our grandchildren, nieces and nephews how to remain coherent and resilient even in the face of perceived adversity?
Tolerance and kindness have their place, but what if we loved our children – and, for that matter, each of our loved ones - in a manner that did not mostly rely on permissions, gifts and material possessions?
Feeling anger - different from demonstrating anger
There is a fundamental difference between feeling anger and showing signs of anger but, what if, no matter how physically or emotionally hurt and angry a loved one might rightly feel, we were able to encourage them to step back because we knew how to do it for ourselves?
Invisible is real
Salt dissolves in food and liquids.
It becomes invisible, yet it is there. It alters the taste of our food in a way that we like.
Salt also raises the amount of sodium in our bloodstream, which does not make for pleasant moments ahead.
Similarly, however undetectable to our human awareness, karmic compensation, retribution and restitution get sprinkled in many of our moments and, in turn, these moments shape the new What Is - when needed and as needed.
There are no lucky breaks or miraculous events.
There is no such thing as bad luck.
We are never at the wrong place at the wrong time.
All is always as it needs to be.
Though we might be deaf to the screams of the alert siren, some rethinking or redressing is always in mode 'code red'.
These amendments/re-arrangements/paybacks or commands to, at the very least, say sorry in an earnest manner [and beg to be allowed to repair in any way possible] always carry the stamp Not Negotiable.
What if we were able to guide our children, our grandchildren, nieces and nephews towards trusting that karma will, of course, do its thing - if not immediately, then, eventually, in the fullness of time according to the energetic choreography of all that is.
Even if not necessarily in ways they will recognise – or know about in this lifetime.
What if they listened when urged them to defer judgement to a higher entity, a god, the source of all things, their soul; to simply breathe consciously and resume living, albeit somewhat differently after moments of meaningful introspection - as nothing ever happens randomly.
Nothing ever happens that is not a facet of ongoing karmic tests, compensation and retribution.
What we fail to address consciously, we end up suffering unconsciously.
Another flurry of What Ifs
What if we knew how to tell our children, our grandchildren, nieces and nephews about the Great Arbiter, the energy that tallies all we feel and all with do with more rigour than the banks’ computers that tally our transaction history moment by moment?
What if they believed us when we told them that no one ever knows anything, anything at all, about what the next moment will throw right under our feet – under anyone’s feet? And that all any human being can think comes from thoughts impulses that have sprouted, unsolicited in their brain, no differently then weed in a garden bed; that all any being 'knows' as facts are only impressions of the world as experienced - not the world of things-in-themselves.
What if, guided by parents, siblings and relatives who espoused vastly enhanced behavioural priorities other than the mishmash of emotional pandemonium that seems to be forever trending in current culture, our children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews were given the guidance they need to develop as conscious human beings?
Imaging the brain snap
Imagine the ‘lightbulb moment’, the brain snap that would enable them to rethink something as seemingly trivial as the respect of those not as ‘endowed’, not as ‘blessed’ as themselves?
Imagine what a difference their heighten awareness would make to the complexity of our global web of interconnected dynamics – of interconnected individuals!
