The Triunity Made Simple by Jesus Christ

Welcome to another one of our interesting Hubs. This Hub is about the Triunity of which there is much controversy as to whether it is necessary for Christianity or not. There are those that say the Trinity is never mentioned in the Bible or that Yeshua - Jesus never said anything about such a teaching of three Beings.

We shall see from the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible that there is such a revelation made plain by Yeshua Jesus Christ himself!

There are those that teach God is one person who reveals himself in three persons as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and that they are all the same person playing three roles. This is known as Modalism and then there is Arianism in which God is supposed to have created Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Then there are those that teach that God is two persons. Namely the Father and the Son who are Divine Beings and that the Holy Spirit is a non-person and is the power that comes from the Father only. This is called Semi-Arian or Binitarianism or Dualism the teaching about two Gods, God the Father and Jesus Christ.

Along with these you will find Dualistic Gnosticism, Neoplatonicism and the Jewish Kaballah.These teaching are basically from a Babylonian miind set. For accuracy in studying the Bible a Hebrew mind set is needed since the first Christians and followers of Messiah Yeshua - Emmanuel - Jesus the Christ were Hebrews. They would have seen the teachings of Christ from a Hebrew point of view.

There is also very strange teachings about a Trinity that reaches back in time to the Tower of Babel and a man called Nimrod, Genesis 10:8-10. This is type of Trinity that has traveled down through the ages and is still part of all religions today, including those that are called followers of Christ, or Christians. We will also investigate how this man, Nimrod, effects the teaching of the Trinity today.

So the Trinity is not really a new teaching but a very old one from our human past. It is not clear if it existed before Noah's Flood or not but according to the God of Israel the Word it did, Genesis 1:1-2,26. We do need to know whether or not Yeshua Jesus Christ would want us to have anything to do with a New Testament Trinty about the Godhead of "Elohim" in the Hebrew language or "theos" in the Greek. So we must be careful of any Greek or English teachings that might lead us astray from the original teachings of the Word "Elohim" in the Old Testament. Elohim can mean a group of Gods or a family, Ephesians 2:4-19; 3:7-15. Theos in the Greek can have a different meaning wherein the Greek manuscripts replace the name of Yahuweh with "theos".

The general title of "theos" in most places has been translated as God in English so that we get the erroneous impression that Yeshua is the Son of Elohim (the Son of God), when in fact it should have been translated to declare Him as the Son of Yahuweh. For both Yeshua and Yahuweh are expressions of Elohim (of God). And of course this means that Yeshua is the Son of Ruach His Mother God as another expression (of God) of the Elohim Family.

We know from the New Testament teaching in John 1:1-4, that Jesus Christ was called the Word and was with God ( Elohim) Yahuweh - the Father and God Ruach HaKadosh(Holy Spirit) from eternity, Genesis 1:1-2,26. Jesus is the one who spoke to Moses in Genesis 1 and had Moses record what is known as the Torah or the first 5 books of the Bible, 1 Corinthians 10:1-4. He has always existed and has never had a need for a beginning as a Spirit member of the Elohim Family. The only beginning he has ever had is when he became a human child procreated by God the Father (Yahuweh) and God the Holy Spirit Mother (Ruach) by them in Mary's(Miriam's) womb as God the Father's first begotten Son of the flesh, Luke 1:30-35, John 3:16.

He has alwaysl existed but he changed himself to become the Father's Royal "Seed" placed in Mary's womb through the Holy Spirit so that he could become a human being conceived by the Holy Spirit, Matthew 1:18-20. These verses should affirm that Yeshua - Jesus who was a Spirit, member of Elohim family, became God in the flesh and is different person than the Father or the Holy Spirit right here, Luke 1:35.

So let's see what Jesus had to say about any kind of a Trinity in the Old Testament and the New Testament. You must remember that his new followers were Jewish and more than likely spoke in their own Hebrew tongue or language.and not Greek. I have found it very revealing to study the teachings of some Messianics who are Jews for Jesus. I will list their link at the end of this Hub. I have found that seeing the New Testament from a Hebrew's eyes to be very beneficial to a persons understanding, since many of us may be of Hebrew ancestary from the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. But, whether we are Jew or Gentile we should try to see things through the eyes of Yeshua - Jesus Christ, who looks like His Father, as the Son of the Living God, John 14:6-9 and has a lot of His Mother's personallity in Him, Isaiah 11:2-5..

After the failure of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3:11-14 to defeat Satan, The Word was ordained to be the one member of the Godhead who would become a human male to defeat Satan the devil, Genesis 3:15, 1 Corinthians 15:20-22. This has been affirmed by Jesus for us after He was killed, martryed and then resurrected and received his glory back again as God= Elohim and now as our Savior in Matthew 28:18. There are several other areas of Scriptures were he taught about the Godhead of three persons before he was crucified for us. Let's see where they are.

It is interesting to note that four of these important teachings by Jesus are found in the Gospel of John. The first passage is located in John 3:3-8,16. Here Jesus is asked by Nicodemus, a Pharisee and ruler of the Jews, about His teachings from God, John 3:1-2. Jesus responds by telling Nicodemus he needs to be born again or he cannot be in the kingdom of God, John 3:3.

Nicodemus responds by asking how this is to be done. Jesus tells him he needs to be born of water and the Spirit and his fleshy body needs to be transformed from flesh to spirit by the Holy Spirit, John 3:5-8. This is the very process by which Jesus was born into the flesh by our heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit Mother, John 3:16; Luke 1:35. Now humans can be born of the Spirit because Jesus gave his life for us on the cross so that we can be born anew if we accept his sacrifice and believe in Him. Being born of the water or baptism is required once we accept Jesus death as a down payment for our sins. Then we can receive the Holy Spirit so that we can be born of the Spirit into the coming Kingdom of God, John 3:10-17.

These verses pictures for us who all three members of the "Elohim" Godhead are, and they are required in order for this miracle to take place in our lives. Jesus is telling us that we must accept him as our Saviour sent by our heavenly Father (John 3:16-21) in order to be born of our heavenly Mother the Holy Spirit in Gods spiritual maternity ward the Church. So it is very plain and simple that these three Beings are needed for this to happen. There is just no other way. The apostle Peter confirms this same process to us on the Day of Pentecost, Acts 2:38-41. This should be important to us and you do not have to be a theologian or a rocket scientist to understand this plain teaching of Jesus Christ here in this chapter of John 3:3-21, 1 Corinthians 1:26-30. Nicodemus did understand because he was present at Jesus' crucifixtion to help bury our Lord, John 19:38-40. This is one of the first places in the Gospel of John(3:3-8,16) where all three members of the Godhead are needed for us to be born again.

Jesus also tells John and us about his relationship with God the Father and the promised coming of the Holy Spirit, Comforter, the Spirit of truth to help us in John 14:1-15,16-17, 26. All three Persons of the Godhead are mentioned here, count them. Jesus is included with both the Father and the Holy Spirit. Nowhere does Jesus say that the Father is the Holy Spirit. Jesus makes it plain that the Spirit is a Person not and "it". Even the very same person needed to born us into God the Father's Kingdom, John 3:3-8. John 14 is the 2nd place in the Gospel of John where we are told that all three Beings are needed for our salvation.

In chapter 15, Jesus tells us again a 3rd time about His Father and the coming of the Holy Spirit to help us learn the truths of God John 15:8-10, 16-23. The Spirit will testify that Jesus is the Lord and we will bear witness for him John 15:26-27. Once again Jesus makes it plain that the Father and the Holy Spirit are two different Beings from the same Elohim Family. This is the third place where Jesus tells us about a Triunity of three Persons.

In the very next chapter, a 4th time, in John 16, Here again Jesus warns us of persecution because we now know the Father and we belong to Him, and that he was going to the Father, John 16:3,10,15, 23-32 . Again that the Holy Spirit will come from the Father to teach us and guide us into new truths, John 16:7,13. Here again Jesus points out to us that the Holy Spirit is a Person and not a "ghost" sent from the Father and is not the Father. These verses are easy to understand but for some reason some men have not this understanding but follow the teachings of philosophers and men that do not really underdstand what shoud be very easy to them. Maybe they do not want to admit they are wrong or they just do not have the Holy Spirit in them, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 1 Corinthians 2:9-16?

It seems as if God has hidden these things from these wise men, 1 Corinthians1:25-29. This makes the difference of why some reject the Holy Spirit as a Person.This is really revealing because the apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 2:9-11: "But it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of man, save the spirit of man which is in him. Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but by the Spirit of God (Ruach HaKadosh)."

In other words we need the Spirit of God in us in order to have the discernment to understand God's ways. The Holy Spirit teaches us the wisdom of God so we can compare spiritual things with spiritual, 1 Corinthians 2:12-14. With the non-discerning mind the things of God are a mystery to those not called to salvation,1 Corinthians 2:7. They cannot understand the things of God such as who is God as Elohim or Three Persons that are One.

A good example of this is as the apostle Peter says of the apostle Paul's writings in 2 Peter 3:14-18:" Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own distruction. Ye therefore beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also. being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen." So, we are to grow in grace and love through following Jesus Christ's perfect examples and teachings by having the Spirit help us, Philippians 2:1-5, 1 Corinthians 2:10-11.

There is one more 5th revelation from Jesus to affirm the Godhead of three persons which some say Jesus didn't say! But these words are written by John as he received these words from Jesus to write down for us to read today in Matthew 28:19 - "Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." Surely we can see here that again Jesus Christ points out that they are three different Persons.

It is hard to understand why so many do not understand these simple words of Jesus Christ but there are some who cannot yet see and hear these simple truths. So they can understand God's perfect Family, so that they might be healed, Matthew 13:13-16: "Therefore I speak to them in parables; because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they .understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: for this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they shall see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them."

It is a blessing to be able to understand Jesus teachings when we read his words in the Gospels or when we hear his words taught to us from one of His ministers through a sermon. So, though the words of Jesus seem easy to some of us, others just cannot understand them yet. Maybe the problem is some people would rather listen to what others have to say about a topic but they never do the research to see whether what is being taught is really true. No you do not have to be a genius. but a person who shows themseves capable of getting to the truths of the Bible, 2 Timothy 2:15. Attitude is also very important. A person with an humble contrite spirit is what God wants a individual to be like, Isaiah 66:1-2.

A person with a humble attitude does not need a high IQ but a willingness to be taught by the Holy Spirit. Here is the big problem, if a person is a "know it all" and has a high IQ, he or she is more than likely to make mistakes about the teachings from Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 1:26-27. God hides the real truths from the very proud of heart but gives them to the prudent in heart that are real seekers, Matthew 7:7-8. People may be irritated at you because you know things that are easy for you to understand while others think they are mysteries, Ephesians 5:32. The Holy Spirit in you makes these secret things of God easy for you to understand, John 16:13, Proverbs 3:32. These secret things are revealed to us by Mother Wisdom, the Holy Spirit, Proverbs 3:13-18.

Ancient Israel vexed the Holy Spirit with their sinful ways and would not listen to Her, Isaiah 63:10, Acts 7:51. This is a major reason why most churches have false teachings that make the real truths hard for them to understand. They neither listen to Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit. So if you are a person who wants more truths then you must keep asking and seeking more wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit, James 1:5.

I hope that I have made these five groups of verses plain to you. Remember at the start of this Hub I mentioned that Jesus was with the Father and the Holy Spirit before our creation. He was also the God of Israel who instructed Moses in theTorah. He showed us from the beginning that there are three members of the Elohim Godhead who have created all things. They work together calling humans to salvation as a Family Team, Father, Mother, and now their first born Son to show us their ways, Genesis 1:1-2,26-28, Isaiah 48:16. This is the heavenly Triunitarian Team that wants you in their Kingdom along with all their holy saints and angels.

These verses are easy to find if you let the Holy Spirit, Mother Wisdom guide you and give you the knowledge to understand the truths of the Bible, Proverbs 1:7-9, 20-23; 8:1--36. So don't neglect to prove all things and stand on God's promises, 1 Thessalonians 5:19-23. Let the Holy Spirit teach you and wean you, Psalm 131:1-3

Now, God wants you to be careful and prove things. To be like the Bereans (Acts 17:10-12) and search the scriptures because the same scriptures warn us of other false docrines and even false trinities and teachings from a Babylonian mind set, that were used to deceive ancient Israel (the church in the widerness, Acts 7:37-38) and many churches that call themselves Christian today. I also mentioned a person.named Nimrod who opposed God near the beginning of this article. He was the one that first led mankind to rebel against God's ways after the Flood in Noah's day. It is from him that Satan the devil has given us a false counterfeit religion with their own trinity from ancient Babylon. Today it is called the Babylonian Mystery Religion, Revelation 17:5.

After the Flood in Noah's Day it did not take very long for Satan to raise up a false society that would oppose God's ways. Satan found a person in Nimrod the son of Cush, Genesis 10:8-9. It was this person that built Babel and several other cities. As a mighty hunter he was able to oppose God and lead human's back into sin. Nimrod and his mother- wife, Semiramus, were the ones who conspired to build the Tower of Babel, in the land of Shinar Genesis 11:1-4. Nimrod and his mother - wife Semiramus and their son Tammuz are the ones Satan used to formulate this false trinity for mankind today through paganized holidays like Easter and Christmas and Sundays..

This Tower of Babel was built to keep some of mankind from being drowned again by God. The big feature here was that humans all spoke the same language. Now, God (Ruach HaKadosh)changed their languages to keep them from finishing this Tower. After this because of the change into many languages they divided up into different nations because of the confusion this caused and left off to build this Tower at Babel which became known as Babylon, Genesis 11:6-9,

This makes for a very interesting study of how the nations today have been affected by this false teaching by Satan that is bringing humans close to destruction again but God will send Jesus to save us, Matthew 24:37-39 . God will once more restore His nation of Israel starting at Jerusalem, Romans 11:25-26, Zechariah 14:1-9. You will find this all very interesting to see how Satan's evilness has affected all human religions even today, including many Seventh Day Churches like the 7th Day Baptist and 7th Day Adventist who think its alright to place Jesus Christ name on the pagan holidays of Christmas and Easter They have leavened themselves with the works of men, if only they would listen to the Holy Spirit and follow the faithful teachings of Jesus Christ that I have shown you, Galatians 5:1-10. We need to be circumcised in the heart and have the faith and wisdom to follow Christ's ways, Romans 2:28-29. Remember we are exhorted to come out from the false teachings of Nimrod's trinity, Revelation 18:4-5.

It would also be better for us to keep God's Holy Days mentioned in Leviticus 23. It takes a lot of work to research all these things as we should, so we leave nothing to chance and assume that everyting is okay. Yes, it is a lot easier to believe Yeshua's-Jesus' teachings that I have shown you in just five areas of the New Testament where Jesus taught us about God's Holy Trinity which includes His Father - Yahuweh, Ruach HaKadosh- His Mother- the Holy Spirit, and Yeshua - Emmanuel - Jesus Christ.

These things are easy and any simple person can know these things when God calls you, as long as you study to show yourself to be approved of God, 2 Timothy 2:15, and let the Holy Spirit show you these good things, John 16:13. It does take a humble contrite spirit, Isaiah 66:2. Don't think to yourself that God's Ways are Jewish and no longer have to be taught. They are God's Ways and God has not changed them as some will try to tell you otherwise, Leviticus 23:1-2, Colossians 2:16-17, Hebrews 13:8, Isaiah 55:7-13, Malachi 3:6.

The first thing we need to do is to repent an be baptized in the name of Jesus for remission of our sins, Act 2:38-39. Then we can have the Holy Spirit come into us and teach us the easy truths of God which the world cannot not know because they are spiritually discerned only by the Spirit in you, 1 Corinthians 2:14; 1 Corinthians 1:26-31. Let's glory in God's Elohim Family and be part of It, Ephesians 3:11-21, Revelation 20:1-4.

Now, along with having the right Trinity we need to be aware that Yeshua the Christ has an Egalitarian ministry. Equality is God's Way and women and men now are both part of God's Family as ministers of God's word and there is no inequality in God's church or Family, 1 Peter 2:4-10. Jesus said his ways are easy and light, so follow his teachings always and endure to the end of this world's evil ways, Matthew 11:30, Romans 8:33-39. So now get ready for God's coming new righteous world without and end, and become the redeemed of Israel, Matthew 6:20-22,33, 1 Corinthians 15:54-58, Romans11:25-27. Amen!
