Contradictions Found In The Bible.

Updated on October 24, 2017

It is what it is. As long as you live for today then yesterday and tomorrow do not matter.

You must do both! or be put to death!
You must do both! or be put to death!

The bible is full of condratictions.

A condradiction a statement or proposition that denies another or itself and is logically incongruous. Seems to many are taking the Bible literally, but that can not be done. It can only be taken with a grain of salt and as face value. Let's take a look at some things that are in the bible that condratict it'self.

Here are some verses that state that God does not respect anyone.

For there is no respect of persons with God. (Romans 2:11)(So god doesn't respect the people he created?)

Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.(2 Chronicles 19:7)

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons. (Acts 10:34)

And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.(Ephesians 6:9)

But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. (Colossians 3:25)

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear.(1 Peter 1:17)

So as you can see, god obviously has no respect for anyone. So why should we respect him? But then again he does respect SOME...?

And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering. (Genesis 4:4)(even though in Romans is clearly says he does not respect anyone)

And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.(Exodus 2:25)

For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. (Leviticus 26:9)

And the LORD was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet. (2 Kings 13:23)

Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off. (Psalms 138:6)

So as you can clearly see, the second section of verses completely condratict the second few. Is there respect or no respect? There is both. Which is a clear indicator that is can't be true. But that is not all. In James he says, "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. But if you go back to Genesis you can see that actaully god does in fact tempt people. "And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am."

In Exodus and Deutoronomy it says NOT to have graven images. "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." (Ex.20:4) "Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee. (Duet. 4:23) But because God purposely made us imperfect, here he gives us clear instructions on how to have proper graven images, in case we can't fallow his instruction on not having them in the first place.

And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof. And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.(Exodus 25:18-20)

"And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. (Ex.34:6)

But don't listen to them, becuase in 1 Kings 22:23 it says, "Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

In Psalms 58:10 it says to rejoice: "The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked." But in Proverbs 24:17 it says quiet the pposite: "Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth."

Here someone miscounted the number of children. "The children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve. (Ezra 2:6). The Children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab two thousand eight hundred and eighteen. (Nehemiah 7:11)

Someone mistcounts again. "And Joab gave up the sum of the number of the people unto the king: and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand (800,000) valient men who drew the sword, and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand (500,000) men. (2 Samuel 24:9)

"And Joab gave the sum of the numbers of the people unto David: And all they of Israel were a thousand thousand and an hundred thousand (1,100,000) men that drew the sword, and Judah was was four hundred threescore and ten thousand (470,000) men that drew the sword. (1 Chronicles 21:5)

And yet, again. These people clearly miscommunicated on the amount of things, or they were all dyslexic.

"And the Syrians fled before Israel, and David slew the men of seven hundred chariots of the Syrians, and forty thousand horsemen, and smote Shobach the captain of their host, who died there." (2 Samuel 10:18)

"But the Syrians fled before Israel, and David slew of the Syrians seven thousand men which fought in chariots, and forty thousand footmen, and killedShophach, the captain of their host. (1 Chronicles 19:18)

DEATH DEATH DEATH!

Most of us has read the bible, so why do we overlook certain parts of it? If we have really gone into great depth of what is written then we would have a different view.

Here I will mention a few highly disturbing things.

First things first I will start with the ten comandments, which are :

  1. You shall have no other gods before me.
  2. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
  3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
  5. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal.
  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.

Pretty common and self explanatory, but those are not the only laws written within the bible. There are over 600 different laws we MUST follow or be put to death, or so it says. That can not be right, it says not to kill right there in the commandments. So who has the waiver to permit death? Let us go over just a few that would put us to death if not followed through.

Reconstructionism, which says the death penalty should be possible for all major crimes
Rehabilitationism, which says the death penalty should be withheld for all crimes
Retributionism, which says the death penalty should be allowed for some capital crimes.

In Leviticus it states many rules which are punishable of death, like eating fat, eating blood, working on the sabbath, cheating on your spouse, and many others; better give up those burger king burgers. How many of us have been guilty of cheating? It also says that no one should work on the sabbath, that day being Sunday; unless you work at walmart, khols, jc penny, starbucks, target, lows, mcoys, taco bell, five guys, carls jr, academy, sears, gamestop, buffalo wild wings , brewings, dollar genreal, marble slab, chilies, applebees, casa ole, subway, taco casa, cafe del rio... to name just a couple. Also if you work at most refinaries or restaurants then you are breaking the 4th commandment. I am sure that all inmates in prison or patients in the hospital will be fine entertaining themselves on Sundays.

Much of the book of Leviticus is concerned with what is “clean” or “unclean”. The book was written in the time of Moses, they are laws given to Moses from god to give to his people. Levitus is chaulk full of laws that everyone should fallow, but the world would be a very different place if that were true. Let's take a look at some of the rules he was talking about.

1. Death penalty for using the Lord’s name in vain

“He who blasphemes the name of the Lord shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him; the sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.” (Lev. 24:16)

HEY! Stop talking like a sailor!

2. Prohibition against eating pork

“And the swine, because it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. Of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch; they are unclean to you.” (Lev. 11:7–8)

3. Mandating of animal sacrifices

“If anyone sins unwittingly in any of the things which commanded not to be done, and does any one of them, if it is the anointed priest who sins, thus bringing guilt on the people, then let him offer the sin which he has committed a young bull without blemish to the Lord as a sin offering. He shall bring the bull to the door of the tent of meeting before the Lord, and lay his hand on the head of the bull, and kill the bull before the Lord. … And all the fat of the bull of the sin offering he shall take from it, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the appendage of the liver which he shall take away with the kidneys … and the priest shall burn them upon the altar…. (Lev. 4:1–10)

Let us not forget, this was written over 1,000 years ago. So does it still apply?

4. Death penalty for spiritualists

“A man or woman who is a medium or a wizard shall be put to death; they shall be stoned with stones, their blood shall be upon them.” (Lev. 20:27)

So, kill a witch and then cover them in there own blood? That is repulsive. But god says not to kill, so do that without killing them...?

5. Human slavery sanctioned

“As for your male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are round about you. You may also buy from among the strangers who sojourn with you and their families that are with you, who have been born in your land; and they may be your property. You may bequeath them to your sons after you, to inherit as a Possession for ever.” (Lev. 25:44–46)

6. Prohibition against eating fat

“It shall be a perpetual statute throughout Your generations, in all your dwelling places, that you eat neither fat nor blood.” (Lev. 3:17)

This one should be enforced, then maybe there will be less obese Americans.

7. Forbidding of hair and beard trimming

“You shall not round off the hair on your temples or mar the edges of your beard.” (Lev. 19:27)

Really?

8. Prohibition against eating crab, clams, oysters

“Everything in the waters that has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers, you may eat. But anything in the rivers that has not fins and scales, of the swarming creatures in the waters and of the living creatures that are in the waters, is an abomination to you. They shall remain an abomination to you; of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall have in abomination. Everything in the waters that has not fins and scales is an abomination to you.” (Lev. 11:9–12)

9. Death penalty for adultery

“If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall be put to death.” (Lev. 20:10)

Leviticus lists four other kinds of adultery for which the death penalty is also mandatory.

10. The profanity of disabled individuals

“For no one who has a blemish shall draw near, a man blind or lame, or who has a mutilated face or a limb too long, or a man who has an injured foot or an injured hand, or a hunchback, or a dwarf, or a man with a defect in his sights or an itching disease or scabs or crushed testicles; no man of the descendants of Aaron the priest who has a blemish shall come near to offer the Lord’s offerings by fire; since he has a blemish, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God…He shall not come near the veil or approach the altar, because he has a blemish, that he may not profane my sanctuaries…” (Lev. 21:18–23)

Now this is just wrong!

11. Other prohibitions

“Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.” (Lev. 19:19)

So basically, it states that if you do not fallow these rules, then the punishment is death. Seems simple enough.

The bible is full of Bullshit.

You don't believe me? That's ok.
You don't believe me? That's ok.

Old Testament Laws.

Not to make things to confusing, the old testament is categorized into three different forms of laws. There is dietary law, ceremonial law and moral law. But not only that, the laws within the laws, there are laws intended for priests, laws intended for Jews and, laws intended for Gentiles.

These are just the laws that God made about himself. Here I will show you what we are dealing with.

Accept and know that God exists (Ex. 20:2; Deut. 5:6)
Not to entertain the idea that there is any god but the Eternal (Ex. 20:3)
Not to blaspheme (Ex. 22:27-28 ) Lev 24:16
To hallow God's name (Lev. 22:32)
Not to profane God's name (Lev. 22:32
To know that God is One, a complete Unity (Deut. 6:4)
To love God (Deut. 6:5)
but also fear Him reverently (Deut. 6:13; 10:20)
Not to put the word of God to the test (Deut. 6:16)
To imitate His good and upright ways (Deut. 28:9)

Those are the ones that only revolved around God. We have not even chipped the iceberge yet. Right here it states laws about laws.

Honor the old and the wise (Lev. 19:32)
To learn Torah and to teach it (Deut. 6:7)
To cleave to those who know Him (Deut. 10:20)
Not to add to the commandments of the Torah (Deut.13:1)
Not to take away from the commandments of the Torah (Deut.13:1)
That every person shall write a scroll of the Torah for himself (Deut. 31:19)

Since it is stating the Torah that is clearly Islam. When he also says we have to kill others in different religions, where he ALSO states that we shouldn't kill? The Hebrew word for "LAW" is Torah, but there is nothing mentioned in Christianity about a Torah, In its most limited definition it refers to the Pentateuch. Yet, the word, Torah, is used to speak of the entire Old Testament as well.

Let's go deeper. In Gen. 17:12 and Lev. 12:3 it states to circumcise the male offspring. In numbers 15:38 It says we needs to put fringes on our clothes, Whatever that means. In Deutornomy is says to bind Gods word on our head and arms. Ok. But not just that, move right onto the Deut. 6:9 and now it says to affix the mezuzah to the door posts and gates of your house. Mezuzah is basically a peice of paper with the scripters written on it.

Here comes the fun part, exploring Leviticus again, here states the "Forbidden sexual relation laws." Might I remind you, death is the consequences for breaking these rules, no shades of grey.

One must not indulge in familiarities with relatives, such as sensual kissing, carnal embracing, or provocative winking which may lead to incest (Lev.18:6-10)

One must not commit incest with one's mother or father, fathers wife, ones sister, ones fathers wifes daughter, ones sons daughter, ones daughters daughter, basically, no sex with relatives (Lev. 18:6- 10)

One must not commit incest with one's fathers sister, mothers sister, fathers brothers wife, fathers brother, sons wife, brothers wife, wife's daughter, daughter of one's wife's son, ones wifes sister, (Lev. 18:12- 20) This is reapeating over and over not to have sexual relations with relatives of ANY kind. So no inbreeding. I totally agree.

Now it is saying not to have intercourse with a woman, in her menstrual period (Lev. 18:19)
Do not have intercourse with another man's wife (Lev. 18:20)
Do not commit sodomy with a male (Lev. 18:22)

Now, this is where it gets rediculous, it says not to have intercourse with a beast (Lev. 18:23) Which actually is against the law.
Do not castrate the male of any species; neither a man, nor a domestic or wild beast, nor a fowl (Lev. 22:24) That happens everywhere.

All these rules are being broken all around the world. DEATH, DEATH, DEATH TO THEM ALL!

In case things weren't crazy enough, they added a whole list of dietary rules.

One must examine the marks in cattle, fish, fowl, locusts (to distinguish the clean from the unclean) (Lev. 11:2) And do Not eat the flesh of unclean beasts, fish, fowl or locusts. (Lev. 11:4, Lev. 11:9, Lev. 11:11, Deut. 14:11, Lev 11:13. So, do not eat dirty animals.

Do not eat a worm found in fruit (Lev. 11:41)
Do no eat of things that creep upon the earth (Lev. 11:41-42)
Do not at any vermin of the earth (Lev. 11:44)
Do not eat things that swarm in the water (Lev. 11:43 and 46) Except for fish of course.
Do not eat of winged insects (Deut. 14:19) Except locusts.
Do not eat the flesh of a beast that is torn (Ex.22:30)
Do not eat the flesh of a beast that died of itself (Deut. 14:21) So...If it died natually then do not eat it.

Do not slay cattle, deer and fowl according to the law if their flesh is to be eaten (Deut. 12:21) Kill an animal you must eat it, UNLESS it's dirty.
Not to eat a limb removed from a living beast (Deut. 12:23)
Not to slaughter an animal and its young on the same day (Lev.22:28)
Not to take the mother-bird with the young (Deut. 22:6) Do not set the mother-bird free when taking the nest (Deut.22:6-7) Unless it flies away as most birds would. Not to eat the flesh of an ox that was condemned to be stoned (Ex. 21:28) In other words, as stated above. If the cattle kills it's owner it cannot be eaten because it has to be stoned. Do not boil meat with milk (Ex. 23:19) Do not eat flesh with milk (Ex. 34:26) Do not eat the of the thigh-vein which shrank (Gen. 32:33) So... NO cannibalism and no eating veins? Do not eat the fat of the offering (Lev. 7:23) Do not eat blood (Lev. 7:26) No medium rare meat guys. Do not cover the blood of undomesticated animals (deer, etc.) and of fowl that have been killed (Lev. 17:13)

Not to eat or drink like a glutton or a drunkard (not to rebel against father or mother) (Lev. 19:26; Deut. 21:20)

Moving on to the laws that pertain to business. This one is fun but we all know that these are broken everyday as well. Get out your weapons and take them to work with you next business day. (Being sarcastic of course, don't do that!)

Do not do wrong in buying or selling (Lev. 25:14) No scams.

Do not make a loan to an Israelite on interest (Lev. 25:37)
Do not borrow on interest (Deut. 23:20) (because this would cause the lender to sin).

Do not take part in any usurious transaction between borrower and lender, neither as a surety, nor as a witness, nor as a writer of the bond for them (Ex. 22:24)

Do not lend to a poor person (Ex. 22:24) OH REALY?? But Jesus also says give all your stuff to the poor. He means don't make them borrow...? Just give.

Do not demand from a poor man repayment of his debt, when the creditor knows that he cannot pay, nor press him (Ex.22:24) Oh ok here it is, so if you give to the poor it has to be just giving. Don't exspect anything in return.

Do not to take in pledge utensils used in preparing food (Deut.24:6)
Do not exact a pledge from a debtor by force (Deut. 24:10) No nagging or pressuring, got it.
Do not keep the pledge from its owner at the time when he needs it (Deut. 24:12)
Do not return a pledge to its owner (Deut. 24:13)
Do not take a pledge from a widow (Deut. 24:17)
Do not commit fraud in measuring (Lev. 19:35) I AGREE! To ensure that scales and weights are correct, or course (Lev. 19:36)
Do not possess inaccurate measures and weights (Deut.25:13-14) Get weights that work dammit! There is so much more that we will not be exploring today. There is a law for everything you could imagine in the bible. We all know that these are crazy laws but it sure is a lot of fun to read about them.

These laws ARE in the bible.

More fun Laws.

I am baffled at the things that are written in this book. It really makes me wonder what the popular drug of choice was at this day in age, because apparently everyone was using it, including the man who wrote the Bible.

Don't let cattle graze with other kinds of Cattle (Leviticus 19:19)

Don't have a variety of crops on the same field. (Leviticus 19:19)

Don't wear clothes made of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19)

Don't cut your hair nor shave. (Leviticus 19:27) I have already mentioned this, mainly because it is so funny.

Any person who curseth his mother or father, must be killed. (Leviticus 20:9) "Don't talk tp my mamma like that!"

If a man cheats on his wife, or vise versa, both the man and the woman must die. (Leviticus 20:10).

If a man sleeps with his father's wife... both him and his father's wife is to be put to death. (Leviticus 20:11)

If a man sleeps with his wife and her mother they are all to be burnt to death. (Leviticus 20:14) Oh this is different, this rule consists of burning to death. What a luxary.

If a man or woman has sex with an animal, both human and animal must be killed. (Leviticus 20:15-16). I guess you should kill the animal since they were willing participants. Are they crazy?

If a man has sex with a woman on her period, they are both to be "cut off from their people" (Leviticus 20:18)

Psychics, wizards, and so on are to be stoned to death. (Leviticus 20:27)

If a priest's daughter is a whore, she is to be burnt at the stake. (Leviticus 21:9) OK, people get arrested for that shit. The police do not care if you are "fallowing Gods will," It is against the law to through stones at people, it is called assault.

People who have flat noses, or is blind or lame, cannot go to an altar of God (Leviticus 21:17-18) BUT HE LOVES YOU AND MADE YOU IMPERFECT ON PURPOSE. "Buuuuut... you can't get into heaven because I got lazy when I made you, and your to too lame for me."

Anyone who curses or blasphemes God, should be stoned to death by the community. (Leviticus 24:14-16)

In chapter one of this book, it states: "If you fully obey the Lord your God carefully, I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth." Ok so what are thses rules we are to fallow? If we follow some then we are breaking others and vice versa. But I suppose that special person who find the loop holes will be set on a pedestal. What the fuck!

Anyone who dreams or prophesizes anything that is against God, or anyone who tries to turn you from God, is to be put to death. (Deuteronomy 13:5)

If anyone, even your own family suggests worshipping another God, kill them. (Deuteronomy 13:6-10)

If you find out a city worships a different god, destroy the city and kill all of it's inhabitants... even the animals. (Deuteronomy 13:12-15)

Kill anyone with a different religion. (Deuteronomy 17:2-7) What will this solve? If everyone did this then there would be no one left to kill.

In other words, according to the bible, we need to kill people of other religions, destory cities with different Gods of your own, Kill ANYONE who even suggests worshipping another god, oh and you must control your dreams to or else that is another cause for death. But God says "Thou shalt not kill", according to the 6th comandment. So how does god suggest we kill these people? So maybe he should have been more clear about WHO to kill, because it says everywhere in the bible to kill SOMEONE.

Feeling deja vu? Do not worry, the bible also repeats itself over and over.

Jesus hates you yes he does, for the wbc tells us so!

There it is. The message they are telling us.
There it is. The message they are telling us.

God is love???

Every christian in this day and age are preaching to love your neighbor, but from my experience in order to be a Christian you must also be a hypocrite and condratict everything you say. Why would anyone want anything to do with religion when all you see is jugdement and condemnation coming from every angle? I understand that the bible should not be taken literally, but there are those select few who take it too far. I wonder if the man who wrote the bible knew the backlash it would cause in the future. Probably not.

One of the best role models of hate, are the westboro baptist church, or the select few who give that church a bad name. I am sure you have heard of them. They go everywhere with there big colorful signs declaring how much they hate "fags" and america. Not to mention how much they hate the military, they love to disgrace the brave ones who fight for freedom bombarding funerals like they do, what cowards! I would kill them myself if I could and feel no remorse. They shout at people and force them to listen, they tell everyone that they are going to hell. They laugh in your face, they make fun of you, they step on the american flag... But they love you, why else would they be so aggresively eager to "save" your life.

These people have obviously got the definition of love all mixed up. Monsters like these advertising the westboro Baptist church need to be silenced. They give a bad name for Christians and god.
