The best love

TRUE LOVE

Love is a strong positive emotion of regard and affection, and object of warm affection or devotion. It could be defined as a deep feeling of sexual desire and attraction. This understanding about love is wonderful.

When love is narrowed to sexual desire and attraction it becomes selfishness. Is love not defined as sexual desire and attraction, it was. Is love between a boy and a girl not natural, it is; because it is the medium God has established for procreation: for the continuation of the existence of humanity on planet earth, so it is important for love in the light of sexual desire and attraction to be in place. Now knowing that God is the one who has set this cause in place, I will encourage let his set principles concerning this area be adhered to. In other words if is for procreation, it should be for marriage (between a man and a woman) and the process into it.

Love is so big and therefore not to be seen, described or defined from one angle, when you do, you will loose the good understanding of it. In fact love, irrespective of the way we are seeing it, the lack of it or its limiting factors, still remain one of the strongest forces that holds the world together, if not we all would have turn to predators in this world looking for who we will kill for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But true love does not hurt, true love is patient, true love is kind, true love does not envy, true love is not proud, love is not rude, and it is not self-seeking. Though the devil has tried using selfishness, pride, hatred, racial discrimination, terrorism, to eradicate love, and it has not been possible, because God the epitome of love is on throne.

Love is charity. Here I will like to appreciate the western world for their enormous contribution improving lives and helping the less privilege in our society, that is a major aspect of love, but love without the author of love is meaningless, because the bible said that “if I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing”1 Corinthians 13:3.

As I have said in one of my hubs (Successful relationship) I still repeat, it is the manufacturer that has the best description of his product, and the Bible said “God is love”: God is the embodiment of love. His love made him gave us Jesus Christ who came and die in our place that me and you will be saved and he has given us the privilege to become his sons if only we will accept his invitation. For this is the demonstration of God’s love. Have you accepted this love?

Love is sacrificial. In our society these days this aspect of love is not common. And that is why there is chaos everywhere. The one that makes my heart bleeds is the lack of sacrificial love in our marriages. The way most of our marriages break so many times makes it look like we are only interested in sex, properties and wealth but not in the person, just because forgiveness is far from our vocabulary: that means that the love we profess at first is not a true love. As a matter of facts, sacrificial love is one of those things a person does or those extra steps one takes in marriage or relationship to save a relationship, most times those things looks stupid and foolish in the eyes of many others who doesn’t understand but the prize of this, is far above rubies. Such wonderful steps in life, is what makes the name of a man written in gold. It is the same that makes the ordinary extraordinary. This principle is applicable in every facet of life. I will advice, let love go round for it is the ingredients that bind us together.

"For God so love the world that he gave his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16.

"we know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. so we also ought to give up our lives for brothers and sisters" 1 John 3:16
