Human nature is a jewel(yet corruptible).
We are made in the image of God who is love
We are made in the image of God who is love, we are all meant to be love just as God is love. That is why we are a jewel, just as love is a jewel? But why do we sometimes not live to these standards?
This is not about history. It is about living. As we live as human beings, we have the mandate of making decisions everyday. We decide many things. Above all we decide how to live our lives and use our freedom. Choice to us is important, and likewise the freedom to practice what we believe and choose to do. We are who we believe we are.
If one believes anything, that is the truth according to him/her. But this does not mean that what we believe is always the truth, but only what we believe is what we are. Therefore if we believe in a lie, we live a lie and become liars to both ourselves and the world around us. And if we happen to find the truth and believe in the truth, we live in the truth.
But the problem is, 'what is the truth?' For everyone has to choose his own truth which to some extent may be corrupted, and considering the fact that human nature is corruptible, we cannot tell on our own whether our belief and what we believe in is the truth and that that is what we are. For all the human beings are prone to corruption, even the most wise and knowledgeable may soon or later fall into a lie, believe the lie and the lie becomes his corruption. And that is the nature of the people, being evidenced by the corruption of minds in the world; theft, financial corruption in governments, murder, robbery, killing and many more things amounting to what we call evil. But this evil is not committed on earth by some strange creatures from the moon or the blues. Human beings, committing evil against human beings. And we always have reasons for our own justification, so every evil is justified within the heart of the evil doer for he can give reasons why he did it.
Justification of evil is what we call corruption. At some point of life about every human has justified some evil which he did by accompanying it with a reason. But what is evil and what is good in the real sense, for what seems evil in my eye may not seem evil in your eye.
That is the state of the world we are in today, in a comma. Governments and people asking, what is evil, and what is good? What should we do, and what should we refuse? Adding to the fact that there is one truth that is well known. That this life on this earth is not forever. So human beings are left with questions, who shall show us what is truly good? and who shall save us from evil? and to answer this questions most of us have turned to religion.
All these know that there is power above all human beings. Righteousness that supersedes all corruption, and glory that passes justification that is just according to the actions of men.
And what does this Bible say about human beings and the world. It says the world was lost into corruption, just as it is. But this God, having mercy sent Jesus Christ in the form of flesh and blood just as we are human beings to conquer sin for the sake of those who believe in the plan of God.
I believe, and have gotten help. That is why the doors and windows of heaven are open unto me. Not because am righteous, but because I accepted the help of God. Because of his son, now I get things I do not even deserve and have hope for much more goodness.
He gave the command, and also helped me fulfil it; when I failed he came to my help and asked me if I would let Him help me unto himself. In this manner am I loved. Am forgiven, and given grace by grace. I have undying hope. For he continually revives me, he redeems me each time. And I indeed know, he meant business when he said that If only I would believe. I would see His glory, when He said that if I would believe in Jesus Christ, I will not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
King James Version (KJV)
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 16:27
King James Version (KJV)
27For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
John 5:24
King James Version (KJV)
24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Matthew 19:25-26
King James Version (KJV)
25When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
26But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Zechariah 4:6
King James Version (KJV)
6Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
