Thousands of years. pt.4
Its been a long time since I wrote about this series, this is the last one.
I pray that who reads this one will be blessed from it.
Example>>> A river does not keep the living water it receives, it has to pass it on, the whole life of fullness issues in sacrifice, in the giving of yourself, or rather in communicating to others the Spirit of Christ entrusted to you, if we don't pass it on our Spiritual life it will evaporate or become stagnate.
The love with which God has flooded our hearts becomes the motive force of our entire life, and it is this same love which the people around us need to experience through us.
The love of God is revealed in the gift of HIMSELF and HE can only reveal Himself through us as we also give ourselves.
Telling others about CHRIST.
Matthew chap.10:32-33
"Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.
But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven"
Now these words that Jesus has spoken are very powerful, I pray that you would never want that to happen where Jesus says that you don't belong to Him.
John chap. 15:26-27.
"I will send you the Spirit who comes from the Father and shows what is true. The Spirit will help you and will tell you about me. Then you will also tell others about me, because you have been with me from the beginning."
I would like to cut in here and say yes I do have the right to tell others about our Lord Jesus, as He has given to me the knowledge of who He is as being the Son of God our Father, and that He came to show us the way back to the Father, and He took all of our sins upon Himself when He went to the cross, He took all of our burdens,sickness, and through the cross he was able to bury them all for us, and then on the day that He said that He would rise again, we can rise with Him as free people from all of our sins, He rose to give to us a new life, let us join with our Lord and receive the new life, let us be born again, let us have a new life eternal life that has been promised to us when we repent and ask for forgiveness, and that we believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of our Father God who is in heaven, and He is waiting for us to go to Him.
When we make a stand for Christ in this world the Spirit of God fills us, at this point it is He who witnesses and loves through us, a christian can not be happy if they hide their faith.
If our faith is really the work of His Spirit it can not be dumb, we are the witnesses of Christ before a world that does not know Him and can not know Him except through our witness.
Jude 1:18-19.
"They told you that near the end of time, selfish and godless people would start making fun of God...........They think only about this life, and they don't have God's Spirit."
So its up to us to spread the "Word" to others about the "Good News", and that is that Jesus is the Son of God and that he came to give to us eternal life and to be with him for eternity.
DO you know of any other person who would do as much as Jesus will do for you, or has done for you?, when you read Gods word anywhere in the Bible you will see that God has done so much for His children, and the patience that He has had, no other friend would come anywhere near to what Jesus has already done for us, just who could ever give us a new life, give us eternal life, who could do that for us,there is only "ONE" who could and would do something like that for us and "HIS" name is JESUS.
You can not keep God just for yourself, this life is not an end in itself but it is a means of taking us further still.
The Spirit of God is entrusted to us, if we don't pass on our spiritual life it will evaporate or stagnate, the love which God has flooded our hearts becomes the motive force of our entire life.
The love of God is revealed in the gift of Himself and He can only reveal Himself through us as we also give ourselves, as you have just read in Matt.10:32-33. and John 15:26-27.
When we take a stand for Christ in this world the Spirit of God fills us, at this point we become witnesses for Christ.
Let us surrender all to Jesus so that we can become the children of God our Father.
Tell others about the "good news" and that is that Jesus is the Son of the living Father.
A river does not keep the living water to it self it passes it on to nourish the vegetation growing along the banks, so it up to us to pass on the good news that has been entrusted to us, to help other to grow in the love and to receive forgiveness that Jesus has for them.
"Lord Jesus I ask you to forgive me for all of my sins against you, and against my family and friends, Lord I surrender to you, I want you to take charge of my life, help me to live the way you want me too, come enter into my heart, clean me from all of my sins, let your will be known to me, Lord I give myself to you, take me as I am, heal me, make me a new person fill me with your spirit, I ask this in your name Jesus ,Amen."
