The greatest blessing that I have been given in life would have to be that God gave me seven wonderful children. I enjoyed every minute of their growing up more than anything else that the world has to offer. I have a nice house on a few acres in Northern California, a nice car and enough money, but my children have always been a part of me that cannot be measured on paper, but only with the heart. When they were young, as you can imagine, my plate was full, and there was never a dull minute. There was baseball games, seven with chicken pox and the flu, plays to help with, volunteering at church and school, but I would not have traded it for anything else in the whole world. I have loved being a mom and have been more fulfilled than any riches would have to offer or that could have tried to draw me away. To be a mom is like having all the gold in the world, your children revolve around you and you are the center of everyone's attention and they are the same to you. Now that they are all grown, I have my wonderful grandchildren and my little grandson is with me quite a bit and it reminds me of how it was with a little one at your heals where ever you go. To some it seems a burden, this parent thing, but to me it was the greatest position I could ever hold.
