To Forgive is Divine. Get it? You see the divinity is within you. When you forgive you bring it to your conscience.

While we build marvelous temples with our hands God builds them within us with forgiveness

Forgiveness is not just for God, we all have the power.

Can you imagine having the power to forgive someone of their sins. I mean really forgive them so that they are no longer bound by their sins. Just think what a wonderful gift that would be. You could free folks, really set them free. Far better than physical freedom, you could give spiritual freedom!

The other day someone forgave me for something I caused, Now that was one of the finest gifts I have ever been given

Of course the best place to start would be at home. I do not speak of a house but closer, yourself. Wouldn’t it be great to forgive yourself for your failings. I can tell you that one of the leading causes of personal problems is a concept known as resentments. People fight over them, drink in excess over them, isolate over them, and worst – fail to grow over them. The only cure for that malady is forgiveness.

Sometimes I wonder if I am going to have a good day. Silly huh. But on those days I say to myself, “hey I am going to forgive someone today”. Wow, how could it be a bad day if I get to do that?

John 20:23 “If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times." Matthew 18:21-22

Mathew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

What up with that Ascension deal?

One time after a real hard journey (actually climbing an active Volcanoe with Tebetan monks up to over 14,000 feet.) I went inside a Cathedral built upon a pyramid with pure gold ceiling.

When I fight with my wife I always giggle, because I do not care about what she pretends to care about.

Most the things that upset us are really not all that important. I think that usually we just get caught up in things because of our pride. Many things are important. Forgiveness of the little things frees us up to be our best on the important stuff.

Thank you. I am afraid it is one of those easier said than done things. It is good of you to stop by and leave such a nice comment.
