Treasure In Heaven

Updated on November 5, 2009

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Matthew 6:19-21 KJV

Our true treasure is in heaven with Jesus, He is our source of light and blessing. As we go on through this lifetime we have a tendency to store up on earth treasure's. Jesus says do not store up treasures on earth our true treasure is in heaven.

Here on earth treasures will rust and not last forever but in heaven its eternity, and things last forever. One day we will be there with Him and all we have to do is praise Him and glorify Him.

Oh how we long for that day. Let's store treasure's in heaven not on earth. In heaven we can know that we will be His and He ours. Praise God for all he has done.

Kids start at a young age looking for treasures. Books become best sellers such as "Treasure Island" etc. The only place anyone needs to look for treasure is in the Bible. You will never find it at the end of a rainbow, gambling etc. Just look in the Bible, for all the treasures lies there. They are gold in the book of Matthew. Every book of the Bible will lead you to the greatest treasure you will ever find. Just began your search by reading and searching the on where the hidden treasure really is.

It truly would be a beautiful world if more people could adapt to this concept - I've never been materialistic - I'm happy for what I have and the Love of God.
