Do you feel that life is so difficult with challenges and you don't know anything to do or to go to help you relief your pain? you are not alone. Many of us have gone through hardships that we wished if things went smoother and nicer. Life's trials can be very painful and stressful. During hardships (challenges) many of us loose energy and become feeling very negative. However, we should never surrender to any of those negative feelings because Allah is watching us all the time. Allah SWT is watching us to help us, especially during hardships. We should always know that every trouble we faced wouldn't last forever. Every trouble is followed by goodness and happiness from Allah SWT. After every darkness there is light and after every challenge there is solution. Through life's challenges we return to Allah to strengthen and help us go through our challenges easily. The first thing we have to do is to call out to Allah SWT. There are certainly things that are in the Qur'an and sunnah that would definitely help us. Allah SWT answers our supplications plus Allah rewards us also for our patience. During difficult times our Remembrance of Allah SWT and supplications should become more powerful and sincere towards Allah SWT to be accepted and answered.

Remembrance of Allah SWT.

Remembrance of Allah SWT is calling out for Allah SWT for time of distress. Remembrance of Allah SWT shifts our focus to the main source of all goodness which is Allah SWT. Allah SWT is the source of happiness and tranquillity. Calling out to Allah SWT is the definite instant solution to all our problems. Supplications Allah SWT helps us tremendously. Once we start remembering Allah SWT sincerely with our tongues and hearts we feel great relief as if all problems melted away. We become feeling great happy and our burdens elevate from our chests. The happiness enters our hearts instantly. Remembrance of Allah SWT would feel that Allah SWT is remembering you too. The person who remember Allah with tongue Allah answers all of his duas. Plus the great reward as the tongue become a shakir to Allah SWT. Remembrance of Allah SWT irs great reward is right after fardh prayers. You will be surprised that your problem will become solved miraculously. Just trust in Allah SWT and Allah SWT will never let you down. Allah is the greatest and is able to solve of our problems instantly. He is the most powerful. I have personally gone through hardships several times but I used to remember Allah SWT a lot with my tongue and my heart used to trust Allah that He would help me get through my hardships. There are certain words for hardships in the Qur'an and prophetic supplications by the prophet Mohammed PBUH such as:

  • (la ilaha ila anta subhanak ini kontu mina z-zalimen)

لا إلهَ إلا أنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّالِمِيْنَ

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The supplication of my brother Dhun Nun (Yunus, peace be upon him), who called on Allah while in the whale’s belly: ‘There is no deity but You. Glory be to You! Verily, I have been among the wrongdoers’ (Quran 21:87) – no Muslim person says it, for any situation whatsoever, except that Allah Most High answers his call.” [Tirmidhi

  • (Ya hay ya qayoum berahmatoka astagheeth)

يا حي يا قيوم برحمتك استغيث

Anas ibn Malik (Allah be pleased with him) relates that if any distress befell the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), he would say: Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi-Rahmatika astagheeth(‘O Living, O Sustaining, in Your Mercy I seek relief!’).

  • (La hawla wala qowata ila billah)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say when in distress, “There is no deity but Allah, the Knowing, the Clement. There is no deity but Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. There is no deity but Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth and Lord of the Noble Throne.” [Sahih Bukhari]La ilaha illa Allahu l-Alimu l-Halim. La ilaha illa Allahu Rabbu l-Arshi l-Azim. La ilaha illa Allahu Rabbu s-samawati wa Rabbu l-ardi wa Rabbu l-Arshi l-Karim

Please remember to use these glorious and very helpful words if you go through a hardship. The prophet Mohammed PBUH has promised us that whoever use these remembrance of Allah SWT, Allah SWT will grant him/her a solution of the problem. And remember that after every darkness there's a light.
