What Are You Gonna Do Wit Dat?? by Merwin

You Fixin to Purchase an Arsenal??

Yep, times is bad.

Some figure that if they humble themselves, fast and pray that God will hear our petitions, and heal our land by providing us with a wonderful revival and possibly postpone the great tribulation.

Still others... similar to myself, are convinced that we are in the last days and they (unlike myself) are storing up guns and ammo to protect hearth and home against the satanic "Big Brother" that is coming to persecute the believer.

In both cases I gotta ask... "What Are You Gonna Do Wit Dat?" seriously?

In the first case... Yes! By all means let us humble ourselves, fast and pray, and hope for at least one last great revival. If we are in the last days, as I reckon we are, this will not postpone anything! It will not "stem the tide" and put off the events for another generation. It would simply enhance that final harvest of the in-gathering by showing His faithful, as full of faith.

In the second case... of gathering weapons... okay brother and sister you can do that if you want to, but what do you hope to gain? What is it, that you are trying to accomplish... to go out in a blaze of glory?

Well... if that is your wish, but if you think that having your position taken out by an unmanned airplane shooting a Hellfire Missile or a Daisy Cutter uber-bomb is going out in a blaze of glory then that is your choice that you will live and die with.

Seems to me that, that is about as passionless and clinically surgical as most abortions today, and your end will be about as glorious as a postpartum abortion.

IF... these are the last days spoken of by most of the OT prophets and Jesus... then the Gospel is the real weapon of choice, and PLEASE do not seek to postpone the purposes of God.

Perfect, Merwin. The armor of God is what we'll need. I don't think anyone is going to get to heaven by acting like the devil.
