Straight Gate or Broad Way?

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: {strait: or, narrow}
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Gutter Ball Evangelism

Anyone who has ever been to the Bowling alley should well be able to understand the term "Gutter ball". On each side of the wooden lane that the ball must go down, you have a Gutter that does not score... it just catches the balls and sends them straight to the end of the line... (picture the fires of hell waiting) But not down the center of the Lane... which is where the balls must go if they are going to score in the game. (like you finding eternal life)

Jesus said that the way to heaven is Staight and narrow... quite like the "Sweet Spot" in the middle of the bowling lane that nets most of the strikes. Not however like the sides of the lane that are the "Broader Way" Catching everything that is not in the proper lane itself.

In the realm of Christianity there are many of these "Gutters" that are not in the strike zone... Not in the center of the lane... and certainly Not in the Straight and Narrow way that leads to eternal life.

Many newly formed religions today claim to be Christian... But even a brief look at what they teach will tell the truth regarding whether they are "In the Way that leadeth to life".... or whether they are the Ditch on the side of the narrow path.

Since the Mid 1800's there have been two psuedo Christian religions that have been declaring to the world that they are the Replacement for the Church that Jesus founded... each one in its own right has done much damage to the cause of Christ and the actual Christian Churches by spreading the rumors of Universal Apostasy and saying that God has rejected his Church...

(God Rejecting his Jewish Bride.?? No Way!!! Replacement Theology is a Dog that don't Hunt.) or (Jesus Rejecting his Christian Bride??? also... NO WAY!!!)

So since there are two of these Churches... that are spreading the same type of alligations of apostasy and saying that they themselves are the New Improved Version that God has replaced the old wicked Bride with.... I thought it might be a good idea to see if they are teaching the same things in other areas... Well, They Don't, Not even close...so there is a real need for a person to study those beliefs before even getting involved with all of that.

Jehovah's (F) Witnesses use a Perverted Version of the bible (New World Translation) which they have systematicaly changed to uphold their twisted theology and Demote the Son of God to a mere good man. and also removed or changed entire concept of Hell (which Christ taught was a literal fiery place of torment) to a meaning that is neuter... basically a hole in the ground for your dead carcass with not further consequence's. Getting into heaven on the other hand is a life of works and hoping you are chosen to be one of the elect. (Works Salvation is not taught in the Bible) Their Basis for teaching these things rests in the Watchtower... a group of false prophets that act the part of New Apostles and write their literature, interpret / reinterpret the Bible and print their tracts (I mean Trash ) .

Mormons mostly claim to use the King James Bible but have several other books that they will promptly switch over to in mid sentence. (While you are still in the process of looking up the last verse to read it in Context) These other books... The Book of Mormonand Pearl of Great Price, Doctrines and Discourses etc Often Borrow Pieces of verses from the King James and in fact are written in the Good Kings English so that it is quite difficult at times to know when they are switching from the Bible to their "Mormon Non-Canonical Books)

Heaven? Hell??? What Planet Jesus is on.... How to have Spirit babies and a host of other things are strangely different from what is actually taught in the Real Bible... Each of these Religions needs to be studied more in depth by anyone who is truly considering them as possibilities.

(and by the way... Don't take my word for it... "Study to Shew yourself approved unto God!!!"

If you are considering true Christianity.... I recommend you read the books of John, Romans and Galatians chapter 1:6-10 before talking to anyone... The more study you do in the Bible itself the less likely you will be sucked into the Black Hole of one these outfits.

Anyway... So after Considering all of this stuff..... I asked the question...

Hmmm... I wonder what happens when they meet on the street or in the front yard... do they stop and talk? Do they try and witness to one another??

Do they make appointments in thier notebooks and then show up on each others door 5-10 minutes before they know they are suppose to be leaving for church... just to keep them from getting to where they need to be?

(Because that is exactly the sort of thing they do to the rest of us Christians.)

What happens when One of these two groups meets the other???

While I may be surprised at some of the answeres that I get... I would be wiling to guess at this point that quite like oil and water the two avoid one another like the plague.

For it is far easier for them to prey on the Flocks of God... than for wolves to dine on a Jackals flesh.
