What is the truth?

The Cross Unlocks the Door to Heaven

This is the truth.

“You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32 New Living Translation)

We who are Christians should know the truth. Here is my take on it and see if you agree.

The truth is Christ is our savior and He is the only ticket accepted at Heavens gate.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life” (John 3:36).

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

The truth is that Jehovah God loves us with a love beyond our comprehension. His love is all we need to enjoy a fulfilling life.

But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Psalm 86:15

“We love because [God] first loved us.” 1 John 4;19

The truth is that when we accept Christ as our savior and repent our sins are washed away. When we mess up and we will as long as we live and repent with a sincere heart our sins are forgiven.

When we live by Gods Law our lives will be filled with joy even in the most trying of times. Gods Law Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Do not do unto others as you do not want them to do to you.

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5: 14 New Living Translation

The truth is that when we submit to God will He will fill our live to the brim and them so with blessings.

“What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (Contemporary English Version)

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our teacher) for teaching us the paths of life. Thank you that when I submit unto You, You have wonderful plans for me. I give thanks in the name of the greatest truth of all Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen .

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day.

I am thankful for this wonderful plan of salvation. I just read where a person had never heard of Christ but by just reading one simple verse, he realized the truth of God's plan. That is so wonderful! Great hub topic and it challenges people on the truth. Beautifully written. Thanks for sharing.

      Hi Sparlea

Thank you for your wonderful compliment.

I agree, too many people are afraid of our loving Creator or believe Him to be a genie in a bottle. They only go to Him when they want something.

      God bless you.

teacherjoe52 I think a lot of Christians actually fear God. Your hub has spoken the truth -which makes for an excellent, appropriate title! You present God the way He should be presented, as Someone who created us and LOVES us so much! The secret is total surrender of every second of every day to God. So glad you shared that God loves us with a love beyond our comprehension. You are right: His love is all we need...I believe with that, everything else will fall into place. Voted up, useful and beautiful. THANK YOU for a great inspiring, encouraging Hub. Blessings, Sparklea :)
