Where do we stand

Updated on March 25, 2010

Sodomy

Is it a sin for a man to marry a fellow man?

And God decided to get man a partner so he created woman, he did not create another man therefore it is a sin punishable by death for a man to have sexual intercourse with a fellow man.It is Sodomy.

God destroyed an entire nation because of Sodomy, he has not destroyed any man because of adultery.

Islam:

The eleventh sin is sodomy or homosexual.

And the person who allows another to mount him from behind to commit sodomy, then Allah puts him on the fridge of hell

Christianity:

If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. (NKJ, Leviticus 20:13)

Same sex wedding.

Where do we stand?

I do not in anyway mean any offense but this article was inspired by my quest to understand exactly where we stand because i have heard the Priest so many times talked about adultery, fornication, murder, lies and he preaches for repentance from such acts yet the same priest had people of same sex married.

The Church which i know is the one meant to save people and not the one meant to bless the means of people's damnation.

Marriage as far as we all know is a fundamental social institution that exist not to satisfy the emotions of two individuals but for the greater good of the Society and Families.Marriage is a unit of life and not a unit of death.

Where do we stand

It is now clear that Christianity and Islam has the same stance regarding Homosexual. So why is it that the same Priest who stood in the pulpit and told me how bad it is to kidnap someone,to lie, to fight and to commit adultery is the same man who performed the marriage of a man and a fellow man?

You see, i have heard so much about Gay and Lesbian rights though i do not discriminate or fail to respect others choices, ways of life and belief but if the Law of God clearly states that this act is evil and punishable by death, why then do we create legislation to make it acceptable as a legal way of life?

But i know that no matter what this Society we all see ourselves in will legislate to accommodate same sex marriage, the law of God clearly states that a marriage of such is not godly.

And Jesus said;

What comes out of you is what defiles you. For from within your heart comes evil thoughts,Sexual Immorality,Theft,Murder,Adultery,Greed,Malice,Slander,Arrogance.

The old testament states death to any of the crimes above.

WHERE DO WE STAND?

There is no mention of same sex marriage in the Bible but it is clearly mentioned n the old and new testaments that an act of sexual immorality is a sin.

Acceptance

You do well says our Lord, it is better for you to atone the fulfillment of the royal law; "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Do not Judge others or you too will be judged for in the same way you judge others, you will be judged and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

God loves each of us the way we are and no matter how fury you believe his wrath is so is his compassion.

Live and let live therefore we must accept each other no matter our sexual orientations because though it is a sin to adopt homosexual yet it is not an unforgiven sin. Therefore, the same redemption which we all seek and is available to all the kidnappers, liars, fornicators, idolaters, thieves and every other sinner is also available to homosexuals.

Where do we stand-I am a human like you

You have to love me just the way i am

I love you as you are and i feel better this way

You have to let me be so why don't you hear my heart

My skin means nothing much and i am still your son

I am still your dear brother and have not changed
