Whose Report will you Believe?

This hub is written to expose the influences in and over the atmospheres, stratospheres, environments, dimensions, and territories we inhabit everyday which lurk in the dark. In hope that you my brothers and sisters will realize that we are at war in the spirit realm. What you choose to do about the position you hold and take concerning this, is totally up to you. I hope that spiritual warfare will be part of that stance, and that you will realize your place of dominion regarding it.

Whose report will you receive? Will you believe all the voices that influence and announce bad news concerning character, conduct and behavior, or will you believe God and all that He has commissioned and provided for good character which directs our values. The voice of sin resonates through the kingdom of darkness ruled by the devil and his demonic cohorts, and fallen humans. It is interesting how the perception of the devil being the leader of evil and wickedness is embraced.

The truth is the devil bowed to sin when he turned against God the Creator and in bowing to sin became a sinner along with those who rebelled with him. Grace couldn't save the devil and demons, but we are saved by grace, not because we deserved it we agreed with God's Word to let there be light, and the gift of grace and thereby we received it. The devil and his cohorts are not repentant to date concerning their treason against God. We too became treasonous because of the dictates of sin that ruled us prior to salvation. Whose report did we receive? Sin and we were aligned with the darkness!

Sin aligned every creature against God, promoting behavior and a lifestyle that is contrary to righteousness. Sin has a voice that influences the ways to and of destruction. It pays wages of death. Nine times out of ten you probably didn't know what and who a sinner was until the Bible informed you. If you grew up where the principles and counsels of the Word were known, you have a lot to be thankful for. To whom much is given much is required. Mercy paved your way, be merciful to others as a result of receiving this gem of mercy.

What we as born again Christians will have to embrace is the fact that the devil and his demons are unrepentant sinners. This is how human beings get in that state. But we make quite a ruckus about the big bad devil and his cohorts, but have you ever stopped to realize that sin hung them out to dry. Sin turned angels into demons, when they realized that they were sinners, misery wanted company and influenced humans into sinners. Sin did that not the devil. Who can abide in the quality of light that they once dwelt in and choose darkness? He had to desire to be the chief sinner, seeing that he is quoted as saying he will be more than all the stars (angels) and he will be like God. Well, God will never be a sinner who needs redemption or salvation. God will always be sinless and perfect!

Jude 1:6 tells us, And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

I used the picture above in another hub, but it is applicable here as well to ask a question. Would you or do you believe that you would ever be willing to enter anyone's house that is that dark? Yet, we used to live there without even knowing it, because ignorance is not knowing. Jesus asked the Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. We didn't even know where we were, in pitch darkness until the light of that forgiveness opened the door and we walked out into the light. Whose report do you receive? I will believe the report of the Lord!

God has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness in and through our blessed Lord Jesus Christ. What we do and the stance we take is something we must do individually and personally, as well as collectively. We hear it spoken quite often that there is power in our words, and the Book of Proverbs tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue and those who choose it will live by their decision and choice; but what about the power in the words articulated by and for God. Will we live by the decision and choice His words articulate to us which always represent light. Always choosing the Lord's side and not wanting Him to choose our side without ascertaining that we have first chosen His side in all things.

We can replay and hear these truths whenever we read Genesis 1, it is the greatest transmission of the announcement of light; and darkness had to take a back seat. Yet all who opposed God went and hid in the dark and still operate through the darkness, transmitting the things which are the total opposite to God. The evil forces that manifested in the garden emerged out of the dark to oppose all forms of life and the light spoken to the garden dwellers. The serpent posed a question to trigger doubt that would make the woman question the words of God to them. "Has God said", of course the woman repeated some of what God said back to the honor less creature, but did not quote His words verbatim. God and man shared a relationship which suddenly waned towards the darkness of sin. Whose report will you believe and receive?

Genesis 2:16 - God's word to the man

"And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die"

Eve had not even been taken out of Adam at the time of this pronouncement to the man. Adam would have had to inform her what God said, because she was not outwardly present. Yet by the time she has her conversation with the serpent and he questions the word of God, she replies:

Genesis 3:2-3 - Eve's words to the serpent

"And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

God's command was to the man, the Scripture doesn't imply that the woman was present, but as a rib inside of Adam. Did she hear from the inside? or Did Adam relay this information?

Examine closely the words of God and the words of the woman. Did she quote God verbatim? God said, for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. The woman said that God said, ye shall not eat of it, neither touch it, lest ye die. It seems the woman added a extra twist to God's words....neither shall ye touch it. Do you see what she said in the recorded word of God? This is how the meaning of what God has spoken gets lost in interpretation.

This is also how, he said that she said gets its start. Nevertheless speaking His exact words is when we are broadcasting His words and not our own or someone else's. There is nothing wrong with understanding the Word for the purpose of establishing it in our lives, but how we comprehend the Word should have the same exact meaning as God's. Somehow it got lost in communication between God speaking to man, and woman speaking to the serpent. Of course, it is factored in this scenario that in order to eat the fruit you would have to touch or handle it. However, the command not to eat of it would cancel touching it. Unless you were premeditating it.

It is a mystery and the Scripture doesn't go into detail as to how the woman would know what God only spoke to the man before God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept, and took one of his ribs, and the rib taken from man, He made the woman. God spoke only to the man, was she eavesdropping inside the man?

The sovereign pronouncement of God will always be the greatest of all things which have been, are being, and shall ever be pronounced that influences our hearing to awakening of our spirits, and our souls, (soul consisting of our minds, reasoning, imagination, emotions, will, conscience, and memory). All of these are aspects of our soul which are daily influenced by good or evil.

The awakening of the human spirit begins at the new birth. Our spirits were dead, sleep in trespasses and sins. God has a sovereign pronouncement that He has broadcasted through His Word, which is His broadcasted message to the entire world. On the mountain of transfiguration, God spoke to Peter, James and John...... this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear ye Him. No other words are more powerful than Jesus Christ.

We must be willing to be silent and to silence every voice that speaks in opposition to His announcements to us in the world. Whose report will you believe and receive? I take that personally and pray that you would be encouraged and inspired to do the same. God has a report He wants to be universal and has chosen and called us to speak for Him in addition to all of His elect, His words.

The call to renew our souls is indicative that there is a choice and decision we must make to guard our lives and what influences character contrary to God. By right only God's sovereign pronouncements are absolutely righteous and good and deserve our trust and faith. Because only He is righteous and good. As we learn to follow His sovereign Word we tap into what is always supposed to influence us and the world, as we live in the world and remain not of it, because it ignores the voice of God. There is a double standard that speaks loud, it yells and screams what is opposition to what God has spoken.

The Apostle James heard it, and was given the ointment in his words to let us know that a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways. Double standards defy the adherence to the Ten Commandments. What is it about thou shalt not kill, that is not understood? Moses learned first hand about murder and was trusted and given the oracles of God to warn others. How about all those who committed murder after Moses and the Law? Double standards are always questionable.

The question we must ask ourselves is whose report will we believe, God's or men. Jesus was a walking example of the law being fulfilled in the flesh, He didn't commit any murder. This pronouncement of light is wondrous. Ephesians 6, tells us that we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places. There is a gap between heaven and earth; which is a sphere, and atmosphere where these creatures war, put cannot control or have dominion because Jesus Christ has cancelled that control and given power and authority to the Church.

Both light and darkness can be understood through the physical realm, because both are spiritual, which is indicative of spheres and realms that has to be factored into the equation, and that is the spiritual light that God operates everything in and through. He brought with Him light, He was and is the light. The picture of the dark deep in the picture above is spooky, but it can assist us in understanding how dark the earth was until God created the light and how dark the soul of sinners are who reject salvation in ignorance.

Picture for a moment spiritual darkness the equivalent to the illustration. That darkness is the dimension of evil, where it lurks and abides. For this purpose was the Son of God manifested to destroy the works of the devil and to expose darkness at its root and foundation. We need the Spirit of God to teach us how to walk by faith and not by sight. Even for our sight we have never beheld darkness that light could not cancel.

God in His mercy created lights at night. There is the moon and stars and He has even given man knowledge and wisdom in how to light up the earth through electricity. Can you imagine not having electricity, our homes would be dimly lit because of the buildings shadow and veil of the sunlight. Outside of our abodes would be well lit but inside would be dim. How about driving in the dark where the lighting is limited? If there were no street lights, that would be a challenge. It is because God created light that men could add to that light.

The word report in Isaiah 53-1, Who shall believe our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? Report in this verse is the Hebrew word shmu'wah, it is pronounced sehm-oo-aw, it means something heard, an announcement, doctrine, news, and something mentioned. In order to hear something, it must first be spoken.

Let's look at the frequency of the sounds we hear per day. Can we measure and identity each and every sound we hear per day, to determine its source. Every sound would be difficult to determine, but the source would not be. If it is good it is from God, if it is evil and bad it is from sin. Sin is the trigger of all evil, not the devil alone. Sin triggered the devil and demons behavior, they did not trigger sin.

" And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins. Wherein in times past, ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience" (Ephesians 2:1-2 KJV).

Verse 1, informs us of the frequency of the sin before being quickened, sin is a destructive force. The verse tells us that we were dead in this state of trespassing against God. Yet in this type of death there was movement because we sinned daily and frequently. Frequency involves the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit time and is the rate of recurrence. Sin is the influence that triggers recurrence. The frequency of sin committed in the average sinner will occur more rapidly because there is no paradigm or standard to follow, so it may seem. The sinner hears evil and wickedness at a rapid level because it is broadcasted in the air and to the ears by the prince of the power of the air who is the transmitter for all programs on the sin agenda. The Scriptures refer to those who heed sin, as the children of disobedience and that the spirit which works in them hovers in the air. Whose report are they receiving and believing?

Verse 2, explains to all of us who are now Christians, that in the past we walked according to the course of this world and that we too listened to what was broadcasted by a Godless world system and our frequency to listen to what was ruling the spiritual airwaves and who was at work in all the disobedient, was our story as well. We however have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into His marvelous light and that changes the way we hear but not what is broadcasted in the air. We still have the ability to hear evil but we have more capacity to discern and hear what is good.

The Bible informs and is informing us of what God has sovereignly pronounced through the holy men who spoke and wrote as He gave them utterance. Every voice that does not repeat what God speaks into the airways is illegal and unlawful and doesn't even have permission to speak.

Beloved, Go forth into all the world and publish the gospel, the good news of God reigning! Let God be magnified.
