Why Aren't We Getting More Of What We Want ???

Updated on November 23, 2012

"A scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it."

Max Planck

...Or Are We?

Do you, at any time, want another person to suffer? Have you ever wanted someone dead and because they were anonymous and thought differently from you, you were able to justify that view? If we are to live in the world of what we want, we must also live in the world where we control what we are cheering for. Wanting harm to come to anyone else makes your world one in which you can be harmed. Supporting violence in any form will eventually bring it to your door. And yes, violent movies, violent books, violent tv shows all support violence in the world. What happens in our lives is all about energy. That's all there is in the Universe according to Max Planck.

If you have ever read about any Quantum Physics research, you know that the observer has everything in the world to do with the results. To be unacquainted with this fact is unfortunate, but to be familiar with it and to continue doing what is not working is insanity. Human beings have an amazing ability to be in denial. It is as if we think we are watching a movie and could have no impact on what we see before us on the screen. Think about the many actions you take each day, think about what you give permission to in the world and then look at your experience right now. See any similarities in what you see and what you are promoting?

When you look at your life and point to areas that do not work, where do you think those issues are coming from? We always like to think that we are intelligent, wise and basically good, so why do these things happen to us?

Do you share your greatness, your joy, your vision generously with others? Are you grateful for what you have? OR ... Do you spend more time focused on what you don't want. If you are being honest, do you support killing people in other countries because they are different from you? Do you support invading their lands because they have something you want? We do not want aggressors occupying the spaces around us, interrupting our everyday lives, yet across the world trillions in currencies are being spent on intentionally making others lives worse. We have leaders across the globe who will watch their country's economy go down the tubes because a few people, those in power, are trying to get more power.

I don't know how else to put this, but you cannot favor a world that does not work for everyone without having your life not work. We can deny this and deny this forever, but with an expanding population, we should be looking for a sounder way to go forward. Be in the world like the world you want to live in. What you do matters. What you think matters. Who you are matters. Be the best expression of creative energy that you can be. If you will not do it for others, at least do it for yourself so that you can have a great life!

Love,

Lela
