Works of the Kindom
Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Just Think! God has done the same to those who have received Christ to do the same.... Anointed US
Matt 10:7-8 "7And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give. "
Willingness to Step Out
As we grow in our Faith and truly experience God, we will come to find that the entire Kingdom of Heaven is backing us up in all that we do. The Spirit of God dwells in our hearts, for we have become the dwelling place of the Most High God, for your body is a temple and God is always with YOU.. God desires to see faith in Him and His word, and Loves to move to honor His word for He is one that can not lie. When He sees faith in His children to perform His word He loves to move. It is our willingness to step out that God also rewards in performing all that He has said that He would do in His word.
As YOU grow in His word and come to a place of understanding, that it is child like faith that God does desire in US. A child will believe almost, if not everything you tell them, so it should be with us when it comes believing the word of our Father in Heaven, and Jesus our Lord, to simply Trust and Believe in that which He has shared with Us through His word. When You ask God, know that YOU truly are receiving what You ask for in Prayer. When Your intent is in alignment with Gods will because you understand that which He desires to do through His word You can even experience even greater things of the Kingdom. We as Children of God as we grow can move from faith to FAITH, and glory to GLORY, all in time we come to understand who it is He is, and who we are as His children and our identity found in Him.
In our willingness to step out and do things that people would not normally expect, such as when Jesus spit in the dirt and rubbed it on the eyes of a blind man and gave him instructions that this blind mans sight was restored, God does some amazing things, upon US stepping out, and upon completion of the instructions we receive, we receive a blessing or what ever it is God may have or desire to do.
The Work of God.
The best way to look at the defined work of God is in how Jesus described it in John 6 verse 29;
"Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”" NAS.
As hard as this may seen for some, truly coming to faith in Christ is a gift. For no one can come to Christ unless the Father draws them, and no one can come to the Father except through the son. Salvation is a work that only God can perform, it is not of man that anyone can be saved. It is the act of God, drawing one to Christ the risen Lord, and them coming to believe or rather accepting the work in which He has done on the cross. In believing in Jesus and the work of the cross as well as the resurrection one can be saved. Romans 10:9 says it like this :" that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved".. All in all, this act of receiving and confession is the greatest choice we are ever allowed to make, and work that we can experience. Truly such a great work and effective one at that for it can affect ones eternal destiny..
Lets make a Move
It is not so much our ability, but our availability to be used by God to do His Thing.. Reaching the Lost!....... God has blessed You and me with an Ability as well, so lets move with God.... As we are willing to step out and believe in all that God has said, having faith, and sharing the message of the good news of Jesus Christ and what has been done, we can experience great works. Moves of God, to save those who are lost and are in need of a savior, await as You and I continue to Follow God and Press into all that God has for us. So share your Faith for it is a gift to you that you can also give to another, through simple conversation, and sharing all that God has done for you, you can activate or add to the faith they may already have....
