Worship Yeshua Always
He is worthy to be praised
In the days of turmoil, when the world seems to be against us, we have hope—God shines through.
We go through life (as followers of Jesus) knowing that He is there with us, He is with us in each and every step we take. Some days we may not feel that He is, some days we may feel abandoned, but if we truly trust Him, if we truly believe in His word as it is written and as we receive it from Him, through dreams, through fellow Christians or through words of knowledge that we receive personally, then we know that He is with us always.
I, along with many people, have had ups and downs, bumps in the road. I have been knocked off my feet-emotionally, physically or even spiritually. But, when I am knocked down and lay flat on my back, my eyes look up. They look up to the one who is reaching down to me, all I have to do is reach up and be willing to take His hand, and He will pick me up.
As I write this, I was thinking of a beautiful child of Christ, she is a person one can look at and know she loves Jesus with all her heart. Her faith is strong. The light of the Holy Spirit radiates from deep within her, even when she is going through some hard time. This is how most Christians are, the light of the Holy Spirit ought to shine from within us so bright that anyone can see. We must radiate the love of Christ. So, as I was thinking about her, this scripture came to me, and I shared it with her, so now I will share it with you:
Psalm 121
New King James Version (NKJV)
God the Help of Those Who Seek Him
A Song of Ascents.
Psalm 121
I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.
We are told, time and again, that Jesus is with us. We experience Him daily, from the time we wake, to the time we go to sleep…and when we are asleep. So why question? Why doubt?
Through my many years on this planet, having travelled the world, I have seen much. I have met people who by our North American standards are financially poor, but they are happy. These people are Spiritually wealthy and happy because they know that their treasures are stored in heaven. I have met financially wealthy people who seem never to have enough, they are continually driven to acquire more.
Matthew 6:19-21
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Our happiness, our joy can only come from one place, no matter our situation or status on earth. True joy can only come from our Lord and Saviour, Yeshua—Jesus Christ.
We may struggle, but if we truly know who our Lord is, then we can still have joy; joy in knowing that He is with us and that He will take us through our life on this earth, right into our eternal life.
Psalm 84
The Blessedness of Dwelling in the House of God
How lovely is Your tabernacle,
O Lord of hosts!
2 My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
And the swallow a nest for herself,
Where she may lay her young—
Even Your altars, O Lord of hosts,
My King and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;
They will still be praising You. Selah
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
They make it a spring;
The rain also covers it with pools.
7 They go from strength to strength;
Each one appears before God in Zion.
8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer;
Give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah
9 O God, behold our shield,
And look upon the face of Your anointed.
10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
The Lord will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold
From those who walk uprightly.
12 O Lord of hosts,
Blessed is the man who trusts in You!
Let us live knowing that Jesus is with us, knowing that He will take us through anything and everything that may come against us. In good times and in bad, lift up your eyes to the Lord.
Praise Him, for He deserves to be praised. Worship Him and only Him for He deserves to be worshipped. What else, under any other name can save us?
Praise God, and Bless you all.
