You Are Special In The Sight Of The Lord

Updated on July 28, 2009

What is mankind in the sight of The Lord ?

Note : all the passages are in King James Version

God honors us so much. It means that Jesus came to deliver and honour us. God will bless us not just spiritually but also in our need.

Psalm 91:15

15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

God is magnifying us.
We are considered magnificent by The Lord. That's why He pays a visit to us every morning and testing us.

Job 7:17-18

17What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?

18And that thou shouldest visit him every morning, and try him every moment ?

God is glorifying us.
That's how we have to see ourselves. We have to learn to have a healthy selfimage.

Isaiah 55:5

5Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

We have to see ourselves like The Lord see us. Never underestimate ourselves and we have to agree with The Lord. With our strength and The Lord as our back up, we could overcome our problems.

Judges 6:11-16

11And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.

12And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.

13And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.

14And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?

15And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.

16And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.

God prefer us to have a champion mentality. Like what inside Caleb and Joshua' hearts. (Numbers 13:25-33 and Numbers 14:1-9 will tell us a lot)

God see us precious and honorable. Our price in front of The Lord will never degrade or change. We are still precious.

 Isaiah 43:4

4Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

Because You are precious, you will never use drugs
Because You are precious, you will never involve in adultery
Because You are precious, you will never corrupting (time, other people money, government money, etc)
Because You are precious, you will never hurt other people
Because You are precious, you will never think to commit suicide
Because You are precious, you will never involve in any crime
Because You are precious, you will never think to hurt God's heart
