You were there (Thank you Lord).

You were there.

You were there, like the sun shines on my world.

You were there, like my shadow.

You were there, like water sustains life.

You were there, like the heart guards all that is close to me.

I lost my job.

My world came crumbling down.

The walls in my world were caving in.

The bills were pilling up.

My phone did not ring for like three weeks.

I thought it was faulty.

My friends are not who they said they were.

They are no where to be found.

It is not funny how dark it gets when currency runs dry.

Who do I turn to.

Me and my sister, we not good right now.

I can not stop smoking weed, the mere scent and thought of me smoking drives her insane, it is not long till I am back in rehab.

As soon as I am out that hell hole, I am calling my dealer, the vicious cycle is going to drive me insane.

How can those that love you most save you, when you suicidal and destroy and dissolve all gift bestowed by heritage and grace, your health, good health, jobs which you can not keep. As well assets which you fail to maintain, perhaps I am better of dead.

But that is not the truth.

These voices messing with my peace of mind.

Depression, is like living with the angel of thought, all measures of reasoning and happiness, are held captive.

Darkness rains, setting your confidence on fire.

You do not feel man enough.

Slowly you start smoking more.

Buying alcohol with your last penny.

Guess who is back, your friends are calling again, devils can come clothed as samaritans

Only to luir you into a false sense of security, only to vanish when you need love most.

It is 10 o”clock in the evening.

I can not go to church.

They open at 8am.

I call my pastor, he does not answer his phone goes to voice mail.

I got to find strength and courage my nephew wont make sense of this ending.

I have seen the joy in his eyes when we play, pray, laugh, even when he is hurt I hold him till the tears run dry, he tells me you the best uncle nathi, and you know what I love most about you uncle nathi, you crazy, his mum and I laugh till the memories comfort my broken soul.i get down on my knees, close my eyes and pray, I feel myself breathing I am still on earth.

God spare my family from grieve.

May the envy of our adversity erode in the mercy of our faith and comfort.
