a time for storms
A time for Storms
There is a time for everything in our lives. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, that “to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”. It continues on verse four to say, “a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.”
Hardships brought about by storms are an inevitable part of life. They are in no way meant to destroy us, they are rather there to build and develop us into better people for God’s glorification. Our Creator and Source is always on the mandate of improving us and our lives. In order to do so, there has to be some hardship so that we can learn to appreciate the good times.
He is Alpha and Omega. He begins something, and consistently finishes it. If you believe that He rules in your life, then surely whatever He has allowed to begin in your life, He will and unquestionably complete.
Nothing lasts forever. Storms are no exception to this fact. As tough as things may seem at the moment, be at peace and rejoice in the knowledge that your God is improving you through that storm. Stand fast on the truth that there lies, after that hardship, a lesson and opportunity that will lift you closer to your best life.
