When The Puzzle Fits
When The Puzzle Fits
Sometimes when I used to go to visit my sweet precious mother, I would find her in her room working on a puzzle. During my visits I would sit there with her while conversing, and trying to help her find the pieces of the puzzle.
What a challenge it can be when there are so many tiny pieces that look almost exactly alike, as well as so many various shapes and sizes. As I would visit with her helping her she would proudly show me the finished puzzles that she had already worked on, and also had pasted on cardboard to have as a picture. While watching her satisfaction in completing her task and sharing it with me, it was very gratifying to see her so content with the outcome of her finished puzzles.
Life tends to be this way sometimes. It is like a puzzle needing to be solved with careful precision and effort. There are so many pieces, shapes, and sizes that are found as we journey through life itself. Sometimes it can come with disappointments, sadness, as well as the usual (or unusual) questions that we don't always have the answers to.
There are too many pieces in our life that we still don't know where they will go or if they will ever fit properly.
To fit: is to be adapted to or suitable for a (purpose, object, occasion etc. Prepared or ready for.
My mother started this puzzle (amongst many others) knowing very well that it would be a challenge prior to even unsealing the box that it came in. Instead of concentrating on this challenge, she already saw the finished picture of the puzzle.God is this exact way with us.
He already sees the finished picture. THE WHOLE PICTURE! He doesn't see our shortcomings, or where we sometimes may fail. He sees the finished task of His creation, His child, the absolute apple of His eye.
God Has A Plan
He already has the pieces of the puzzle put together for us
It is up to us to stop trying to figure things out and trying to make the pieces fit together in our lives, especially when they don't belong there in the first place.Since we already know that God has a plan. And so then when we encounter temptations, disappointments, and trials that may come our way, it is up to us to trust God with the WHOLE finished picture. Knowing very well inside our hearts that He already has the pieces of our life put together.
Romans 8:28 "
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him who have been called according to His purpose "God sent His Holy Spirit the comforter to help us in our time of need.
John 14:26 "
But the comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name. He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you". 27 " Peace I leave you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid".
Not only does God have the WHOLE picture pre planned, he has also provided a way for us to get through these challenges that life sometimes brings in our direction. He has given us His Holy Spirit to lead and guide us along the path of this journey known to humans as life. So whenever you get discouraged or dismayed and you want to just give up on the pieces of the puzzle of life, remember that God already has the pieces put together for each and every one of us. Again, he sees the WHOLE picture.
Therefore we need to just trust in him with all our hearts, knowing he has always and will always be there with the loving finished touch. After all we are the apple of His eye. He knows both our beginning and our ending. He always knows what is to come. Glory to God, He knows all things.
2 Corinthians 5:5 :
Now it is God who has made us in his image for His purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come when the puzzle is completed.

When The Puzzle Fits: - Our life is in His hands
This profound understanding is because God made it to fit by creating it in the first place, the puzzle of our life should be in His hands, so let it be. Heavenly Father we understand you are the creator of life, you have a plan for each one of us, and you do see the WHOLE picture. Please help us to trust you with this and to believe and have faith that the end result is beautifully designed, as well as put together and completed according to your purpose. Give us the strength to let go of the things that don't really matter, allow you to work inside of our lives, putting those pieces in the exact order they should be. This I pray in your Son Jesus name. Amen!
My precious mother - In loving memory of her
And so I dedicate this message to my mother Virginia who was a great example of actually being a woman who walked the walk, not talked the talk. She was and will always be my rock, advisor, and support. I really do miss her and her support!
A pillar of strength you were dear mother, even to the end while fighting life's battles. Always knowing that God, and His strength would be sent.
Even in your darkest hours on earth you tried to comfort me, and because of my own selfish nature of complaining, I didn't see clearly. I couldn't see that in just a few hours, you'd be gone from this earth, in the arms of Jesus, starting a new life, a rebirth.
You were always there for us (your children and others) through the thick and the thin, letting us know all is well and with Jesus we'd win! Mom, throughout your life, you did many good deeds. Constantly thinking of everybody else's needs.
The sun will still shine day to day, but the rain is like teardrops for us left behind.I find relief in knowing I will see you again someday soon. It could be today, tonight, or tomorrow at noon. Yesterday, today and forever, my whole life through, I will always love and cherish you.
I can only imagine the joy and the peace that overtook you on that final day, when you looked at our Lord, not knowing what to say. I'm sure He laughed and said, "My daughter, come in come in", as he led you onward to your lovely mansion. And inside awaiting you was our dad and our brothers, your life companion and sons. Oh the reunion must be so sweet for you our dear mother. It makes me happy to know your rest is complete, and that now and forever you'll sit at His feet. (Jesus)
