When The Lion Roars

Matthew 7:15,16

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits....

Awaken by another dream this time to the sound of a lions roar " When the lion roars" In my dream I was attending a huge gathering, what seemed like a concert where the people all stood standing gazing their eyes to the performers on the stage. I paused a moment then joined in on the crowd looking around at my surroundings then returning my gaze once again to the stage where the people were speaking to the crowd and what seemed to be like a praise and worship time. The people around me started to put their hands up raising them to the ceiling as though they were getting into praise and worship. Still uncertain of my surroundings with a feeling of discomfort I began to raise my hands up in praise and worship, and as I was raising them that is when I heard the sound of the roar of the lion. Run!

That is what I did with my nephew well all the other people were scattered by that sound too. It was then in my dream that the Lord revealed to me that those people on the stage were false prophets who weren't sent by Him anyway that is what I felt in my dream as my nephew and I looked for a place to escape.

Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christ's, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Jesus' point here is that just because someone appears to look pious on the surface, that doesn't mean they aren't filled with lies and deceit. Therefore, it is not wise to trust in mere appearances. That is, it isn't safe to just look at what a minister or teacher of the gospel is doing and conclude that they're walking with God simply because they appear to be friendly or intelligent. In fact, even if they perform what appears to be a miracle that still wouldn't be enough to prove that they are who they are claiming to be. After all, even demons can perform signs and wonders.

Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! (Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV)

Well how do we know who a true prophet is?

Num 12:6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.

Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

A false prophet can be recognized by the fact that he or she yields bad fruit -- distrust, discord, confusion, wrangling, gossip, useless disputes, and divisions within the church. A prophet's words are false if they are inconsistent with, or contradict, God's Bible. (This is the ACID TEST. God does not contradict His Bible.)

And the Lord said to me, "The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart." Jer 14.14

Jesus said...) "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many." Mt 24.11

God says "prove all things" (1 Thessalonians 5:21).

Everything a person tells you about the Bible makes sure its in the Bible before you believe. Don't just take his word for it. Remember God made you a free thinker. Believe YOUR BIBLE!" All messages of hope of deliverance apart from faith in Christ are all false gospels of a false salvation declared by false prophets. Forsake whatever it is that you are clinging to and run to Jesus. Flee the wrath to come! Stay in the word ! Pray and stay in fellowship with other believers who acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Sometimes we have questions about what dream and visions means. The bible tells us exactly what they are. But that may not be enough for many. So I picked a few select of books that explain to you the meaning of dreams and visions. That doesn't mean that you have to agree with any of what is written but it surely wouldn't hurt to get more knowledge on the subject. Normally when a person writes about these kind of topic they have to have some knowledge of what they are talking about. Written by Pastor Anthony Carter trying to provide us with the tools to discern the voice among voices. To know the difference between false and truth. To not be lead astray by the many voices of falsehood. Although they look like sheep they are really wolfs seeking to deceive many and lead them on the wrong path.

Be careful who you listen to for there are many who claim to know God and that they are the way to God. The devil knows God too and he surely isn't the way to God or truth just pure deception.

Pastor Anthony Carter shows us in his book that Jesus not only warned us in Matthew 7:15 , but He also provided us with the means for exposing false prophets and directs us to follow only the Good and Faithful Shepherd - Jesus Christ.

This book is worthy of the time spent to read so that we won't be deceived with all the many voices out there.
