Creationism vs Evolution Debate on Creation Facts

Updated on January 4, 2015
creationism vs evolution
creationism vs evolution

Debate over creationism and evolutionism seems to be never-ending. Since my very early ages I’ve been observing how the world population is divided in the name of God, and how they are ready to sacrifice their lives in the name of religion. Why they do so? Okay, I will come to that point at the later part of this hub. Actually, we are all searching for the truth about our origin in this universe-- both evolutionist and creationist. What creationist people do is they take references from holy books for their version of creation theory, and on the other hand evolutionists gather their evidences in favor of evolution, directly from scientific evidences and facts. And what the normal people do or think that they read both of them and many of them without proper comprehensive power of both religious and scientific jargon, make up their own mind to support any of the two ideologies-either creationism or evolutionism-where both the theories has its own drawbacks.

The evidence of the existence of God has been intriguing our mind ever since our ancestors developed the idea of God and start worshiping to numerous deities in their own ways. Indeed knowing and becoming absolute sure about the existence of the one will make some feel more secure, especially those who are in doubt about if there are anything like life after death. Though many of the world religious have clear indication towards the life after death and the existence of God, yet there no proof to us about the authenticity of those holy writings and at the present moment we don’t have any way to validate the authenticity of any of those holy books, maybe in future also we will not be able gather any proof neither about the God nor his holy books. Are there any solutions to this problem? Let me guess a bit about any problem which has two or more solutions. Only probability theory can give you some clue. At one particular time one particular incident will be favored by the nature whereas at the very next moment some other probability will show up or even manifest in reality. Some people in this world so firmly believe in His existence that they are ready to do anything in the name of God, while some are so strongly believe in evolution theory that they even killed the possibility of the existence of his presence in this universe.

Before getting the answer of if the ONE exists or not we need to know that if we have any way to prove that if almighty exists or not. The answer is yes and no. Though we do not have any evidence but by observing the complication of human life form and its reproduction system I think no intelligent being can ignore the idea of the God behind the design of human. I have seen that many people make comments based on their superficial knowledge, if one try to know the details of human gene and its coding one can find that it’s a self conscious complete program, here I am not going to ask that how evolution can generate a complete program. I have wanted to share my observation and that is I have never seen nature generating a simple mobile phone out of some random hit and trial method, which has no consciousness. Human life form is much more complicated than any human generated device. Then how a conscious program can be generated completely out of the blue who has the power to land in the moon or even trying to figure out the mystery of the space-time wrap phenomena. I think the there is no absolute answer of if the almighty exits or not. If there is no answer then why I am writing this hub... I always ask myself the question before I ask any questions to anyone. So, before one make any decision about the presence of the ONE ask oneself that as a human what a person want to achieve within his short span of life. I think in our inner heart we all want peace, security and respect

Most of the kids who are brought up under religious influences learn about god and creation. Many think that God resides in everyone's heart as an essence of love and a source of our inner strength. That is why people pray to God when they face difficulties is life. In reality if he does exists or not does not matter, in some of our mind he is as real as our friends, parents and loved ones. So,when someone believe in God and in HIS presence let him believe, at the same time many of us do not believe in his existence, let them do that also. It’s absolutely true that we can never ever solve out the existence of God and the debate about HIS presence being going on over thousands of years. Why the debate over the existence of almighty going for so long? Perhaps, nature has been producing same type of people over and over who are likely to think and debate on the existence of the One, if it is not so then we would not have the same type of human virtues and qualities in almost the same ratio for the past few thousand years, I am saying few thousand years because at least the human history of the last two thousand years has been documented well and we know what people used to think in the past.

Should you let the God of your mind stay in peace?

I think the kind of relationship one has with god in his mind let it continue who knows after your death you really find an angel greeting you to the gateway of godhood and offering you hell or heaven. Then a long interview session with the One who is smiling and asking you about why you questioned the existence of his presence when you were living a decent human life in Fortunately or unfortunately no one in this planet going to prove that if my imagination is right or wrong.

I guess it’s always better when we let someone to enjoy his freedom of thinking. If the existence of the one let someone feel great I have no right to deprive him from his freedom and the vice versa. In this case by questioning, doubting or arguing about the existence of the one we are putting the existence of some invisible power (whose whereabouts is not known to anyone so far) may exists or not, we are not only jeopardizing the safe place of God in someone’s mind but also instigating many untoward situation among our own people. My personal point is I should do my work properly and let all the people to do their works and make sure I do not interfere any one’s freedom as long as I live.

Deepak Chopra Interview with Richard Dawkins

Creationist Wendy Wright Interviewed by Evolutionist Richard Dawkins

There are many important works ahead of everyone; we never think that every day we are losing precious moments from our limited lifetime. To make our life more meaningful we need to look at humanitarian aspect of life, which in fact is the major inspiration for continuing the life. Think about the situation if suddenly we come to know that an event like 1994 when planet Jupiter was hit by a large comet (Shoemaker-Levy 9), going to happen with planet Earth, and the existence of our own civilization would come under a question. Comparing these incidents with the debate on the presence of God, I am just trying to show the real value of this debate. Debate over anything open up new ideas and help us to understand many unknown aspects of the debated topic, but there is no point to debate over a thing without knowing a topic properly and without gathering substantial evidence to support it. Finally, both creationism and evolutionism are still to be understood properly by many, because what both the parties are doing is trying to establish on what they believe in. Are there really any point if God exists or not or if evolution is true of not-certainly it will help to solve many faith conflicts, but we need to keep in our mind that we are here on this world for a while only, and we must not forget to respect everyone, no matter what is one’s creed or culture is. At first we are human-either good or bad-then comes the question of debate of how we came to this universe. What is more important in your life is only for you to decide on and act on accordingly. Spread the love of humanity all over the world and try to understand the purpose of your life with your inner feelings-you’ll see something special that is for sure. Even, you'll find that Charles Darwin himself gave a message to us along with his evolution theory-what was that -nothing is for sure.Thank you so much...

evolution and creationism are not a contradiction in the age of science and anthropology as I explain in my video here... science actually glorifies and confirms God as the only existing factor that can explain the initiation of the big bang, science has no explanation for the intiation.

and to prove I'm the real deal I explain (in all languages as promised) how I performed 2 miracles feeding the 5000 and the miraculous catch in my key video "the announcement". More will be revealed in due course over the next few months as the world wakes up slowly to the reality I am back. Of course some will say I am an imposter but the reality is no one will wonder how the miracles were performed anymore as my truth will be embedded in the minds of man and everyone will know it's the truth even if they deny me intheir hearts. Spread the video (facebook-Jayzus Christo, twitter-@themessiahme, email etc) if you want to speed up the coming of a world free of oppression, violence, paedophilia etc it's going to happen but you can help speed it up. to doubt is normal but condemn me at your peril your name shall be noted. Those who muster faith and pass on the video shall be rewarded (perhaps despised by many but cherished by me).

@James A Watkins-Thank you so much for adding valuable information to this hub.I totally agree with your view point.I do not blame any religion.I have deep respect for every religious people. What I found by reading various religious forums in Internet including hubpages is that some of us has no tolerance for others and no respect for others' views about the existence of God.A person can be either good or bad irrespective of which religion he follows. The point of this hub is that we should not show disrespect when we debate with a person who has a different view about the existence of God.Once again thanks a lot for your very insightful and factual comments.

This article is pretty good. Most of your positions are reasonable. I did notice, however, that you felt the need to several times throw in old "religious people kill other people" canard. That is like the old "let's get rid of guns because guns kill people" argument. Guns do not kill people. People kill people with all sorts of instruments and always have.

The truth is that people kill people all through human history whether they believe in God or not—but most killers are not religious.

Even the Islamist fanatics are mostly non-observant of Islam. They use certain verses, taken out of context, from the Koran to justify what their hearts already want to do—kill.

The most horrifying mass killings of all time in human history have in fact come in the few societies that officially and totally rejected belief in God: The Soviet Union, China, Cambodia, Nazi Germany. Man surely kills man in all societies. With God belief it is generally tamped down at least. With the Godless, there is no reason not to kill another human being. We kill chickens.

I believe absolutely in God. Creation ]facts] attest to the fact that living beings did not just emerge. Even the human brain, solar system and the DNA to mention but a few must have been thought out by a super intelligent creature - Jehovah God. However, i do know that the many inventions of man did not [and never will] come by chance. They are conceived as a result of thoughtful, thorough thinking & years of rigorous research. Thank you.

Creationist Wendy Wright has a problem undestanding the basic idea of evolution even after Richard Dawkins is trying so hard to explain it to her? This woman is a joker!

Richard Dawkins interview of Deepak Chopra on the other hand is very good because it focuses how people can be made to spend a lot of money on religious and mythological things in the name of spitituality when there is very little, if any, evidence of it doing any good at all!

Christianity doesn't try to establish anything we just quote what god has already said 6000 yrs ago. The fact that people worshiped ages ago shows that all mankind has an innate desire to worship something, today it is the lucre of society in its many forms, many people have some sort of belief, even atheists believe in no god (until they are laying on their death bed), some in creation which is really a form of what is called pagan worship from 6000 yrs ago, some worship satan but hopefully only a few lol. Some angels because they have seen them lol. Many have a mainstream religion. Some still sit on the fence and wonder what side of the fence to get off of, but deliberation in something has always come to the forefront at some point. God not willing to drive people crazy, attempts to persuade them but eventually leaves them to their own desires or delusions, as they want it to be. The era of signs and wonders, the pillar of flame and the parting of seas is over and god leaning more to the grace and love side of the spectrum now since jesus will only nudge and prod a little so yep theres not a lot of proof on the outside of the window looking in, but on the inside looking out there is tons of proof, ask any christian. Ask me, i will say yes god exists and he is very real indeed. Good luck with this. Thanks for the hub.
