Dear Jesus

Updated on February 11, 2015

A Wonderful Devotional

Dear Jesus is a nice book for daily devotion. It is the followup to Jesus Calling another book by Sarah Young that has been used all over the world to encourage people into an intimate relationship with God. Jesus calling is written and dated as a daily devotion in the style of Jesus speaking to us.

Dear Jesus was penned in a dialogue style. Each entry begins with a truth and then goes into a prayer to the Lord and is followed by a response from Him. Supporting scripture finishes out each piece. The book is laid out to be read two pages in a sitting. I have enjoyed Dear Jesus tremendously. I hope you become convinced to give this book a try. Thank you for stopping by.

Dear Jesus Author Sarah Young

Sarah Young was born in Nashville Tennessee and grew up in the southern United States. She is well educated, has a wonderfully intimate relationship with God and has devoted her life to helping others discover their own matchless relationship with Him. Through her writings, Young is quietly leading millions of men and women worldwide on a journey of intimacy with Christ.

Sarah and her husband have traveled around the world planting churches and counseling. They currently are ministering to a Japanese-speaking community in Australia.

Sarah is the author of, Jesus Calling, Dear Jesus, Jesus Lives and 40 Days with Jesus. There are a number of ancillary materials like children's editions and study Bibles as well.

Dear Jesus Review

Dear Jesus by Sarah Young is a devotional book written for the purpose of helping us to understand that we can take anything to God. There is no problem or difficulty, no triumph or tragedy that He won't be there to help us through. Jesus cares about each one of us more deeply than we can possibly fathom and Mrs. Young has written this incredible book to give us just a small taste of the goodness The Lord has to offer.

It is possible to know God in an extremely personal way. When you hear things like "There is no eveidence of God" or "If there is a God, why can't we see Him?" you don't have to agree. God wants you to know Him, know Him in such a way that its beyond doubt. Belief is one thing but knowing is another altogether. Dear Jesus reveals the God that loves you like He has never loved anyone before.

I have been amazed by this book and hope that you will be too. Please let me know what you think after some time with Dear Jesus, I'd love to hear your amazing story.

Cool book. I will need to look into it. Have you read the butterfly effect yet? It talks about how important you are and how your actions effect others.
