Human's big mistake - Religion

Updated on January 5, 2015

When your Belief is Shattered

What are all the good things achieved by Religion.?
Religions are created by people and maintained to get order in society , but as the people started to explore and found out that there are other people in world with other beliefs , It shattered their own belief.

When there is someone who tells that whatever you have been believing throughout your entire life is wrong.! what will you do? you fight for your belief.

These fights have not just killed millions of people but also numerous beliefs throughout the world. Lets take all the successful religions that thrived till date.

Christianity : before the belief could spread into Europe, all the followers of Jesus were hunted and killed by pagans , but once the Christianity was spread without any boundaries, even the Romans had to convert themselves to survive. Then came the mass murdering of Islamic followers , and innumerable sins which is completely contradictory to what Jesus preached.

Islam : When Mohammed said that he had spoken to an angel in his dreams , and told him that all earthly things should surrender to GOD. This is not clearly recorded anywhere whether Mohammed started the wars or others started the wars against him. But when Mohammed's believers and followers asked people to surrender to their almighty, people who reduced lost their heads . Later followed the holy wars with Christianity which killed more men than second world war.

These holy wars between Christianity and Islam is continuing till date..

Hinduism: Hinduism is not a religion per se, but collective beliefs. Although it is one religion there are many gods, people of different believers fought with each other until a new common enemy arrived ,the Islam. There were many wars between Hindus and Muslims ,which gradually led Islam to spread across India, there were more killings and brutality after the country was given independence.

What does a diversity in religious belief actually do ? Why are people become intolerable to people in other religion , why is this worse than racialism ?

When can we accept the fact that every God is made and fictitious, where all the people in earth were once originated from common ancestor, which is we all are relatives somehow.?

Is religion a good thing or bad

The research studies on "Human Origin" is going on. No final conclusion arrived. Only theories and hypothesis.

For Example, let us now consider, there are no human beings living in the planet - Earth except two new born babies of male and female. ( Pl ignore on the question of how they have been brought to earth)

How these babies will grow? No animal in the earth will serve food and secure them, except if any elderly matured some living beings possessing minimum 6 senses available and have got human’s basic feelings to nurture.

Though all energy resources are available, the babies cannot live longer none other than crying and dying.

So, the “Human Origin” is still not proved substantially. This world is full of mysteries. While exploring the world, for many things, we will end up with an answer “Don’t Know”.

Believing things are easy. Experimenting the said things is bit difficult. I am in the second category.
