My Last Resolution of 2018

Updated on December 31, 2018

Last resolution of 2018

2018 was a good year to me. Nothing awful happened, except an internship that not did well like I expected. I try to learn something positive about that. At least I did the internship in a lovely place, full of beautiful landscapes. But also made me lose the bright idea that I had about that area. Well, move one. I still didn't lose the weight that i wish, but I will make it. I had good grades and a part-time job. I left others important thins to me, in order to focus on my priorities. This next year I will finish my degree in hotel management.

I consider myself a dreamer. Except the fact that I try to make my dreams come true. And the true is that I will try really hard to make all my resolution wishes to 2019. In the last day of the year, I was watching the firework in Australia, by TV and I started to cry, it his my dream land. But I have other dream lands. So I decided that I want to work in hotels around the world, in order to explore my passion in amazing places.

That's my main goal for my life.

It's not easy to convince the others that you are capable of that. The best way is just to show. I really need to get out of my comfort zone. More important, I should prove myself that I'm really capable of purchase my dreams.

My resolutions for 2019

Wait, some people say that we shouldn't start a text with wait. But, i really forgot to say something important. Like I said, I discover a new resolution for 2019. But, this time I will try to realize them, so I decide to make a list. Every month I will look at the list and try to remember that I'm the owner of my destiny.
Here it goes the list:

1. Start writing more.
2. I will stop creating accounts on Pinterest, I will choose one and use it to inspire my life.
3. Lose weight in order to be more healthy (at least 22 pounds (ca. 10 kg))
4. Finish my degree in hotel management.
5. Read more!
6. Trying to stop eating meat again!
7. Have a great internship.
8. Find a job.
9. Candidate to hotel jobs around the world.
10. I will try to become a better person
11. Close my facebook account
12. Do voluntary work.
13. Learn a new language.
14. Gardening more.
15. Learn how to meditate.
16. Never stop celebrate or being grateful.

17. Drink more tea!

I know that I should do more than this, but if I did this I will very proud of me. I like goals, they motivate me. Life is all about motivation. Without that we cannot do nothing. Sometimes we don't have anyone to tell us that we are good, that we can do that. Sometimes, the opposite happen.

And now, what do we do?

We should remember that we born naked, small and fragile. Now we grow up, we are strong, full of capacities, thoughts and experiences. Now, more than ever, we are ready to motivate our self. We are ready to look in the mirror and recognize the amazing person that we are, our competences and skills, our heart and dreams, our straights and troughs are together ready to make you shine!

Believe, you know what you are capable of! You dream with that all your life, what is slowing you down? Just you.

Motivation is necessary. But also courage. Courage to go more that you expect.

Imagine what is possible if you have positive thoughts, if you believe that you will get anything that you want. Just work hard, never stop believing, do your best. Help the others to grow. And believe me, you will get there.

Do you know why I'm telling you this? I always did that and well, I realized some dreams. I built new other dreams. When I forget to believe, life starts to go wrong but actually, is just a warning from the universe to tell you to change your way! Don't be afraid to walk new paths. They are there for you to explore.

This is my message to you.

Dream and make it happen

"harder that not listen the naysayers is to convince them that you are really capable of doing this" - This made me laugh because I think I know exactly of that circumstance. Just do what You wish to do and even after You do it, You will still have not conviced them. "Nay-sayers" are not to be convinced of anything.

Other than that, thank You very much for sharing that link. Those photos are breath-taking! I love Water And Rocks so, it's perfection I see in those photos. Thank You.

      Cheers and Happy New Year!

      Hi Cristiana,

I am reading this between 2018 and 2019. I am a huge advocate of self motivation. Motivation is intrinsic, if it is extrinsic it is not motivation but coercion or manipulation. Have a happy and motivated 2019.

Well, that's a lovely scenery in that photo You posted. I suppose that's the coast of Portugal? Never been. Looks very nice though.

I enjoy travelling too. There are a lot of really cool places on this little planet. I'd say do what You wish and what makes You happy. Never listen to nay-sayers and just do your thing. That way, You will have no regrets later.

Good Luck with your resolutions and all the best for 2019!
