Where in the Bible It Say You Can Eat anything, Just Pray Over It?

We would like to direct our attention to Acts 10. In this chapter christians have their own understanding about eating any thing. But when other bible passages is not used to support Act 10, we see where the confusion comes in. We know by the mouth of two or more witnesses let a thing be established. therefore, we display to you the wisdom of God, that the writer of ths article and the reader of it may gain understanding.

We know that Peter became hungry and he wanted something to eat and the Lord showed Peter a vision of all kinds of animals. The Lord said to Peter..."kill and eat" Let's see what this mean, because when we read that it looks like this conversation was talking about food. Something we put in our mouths. Peter said... 14"Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean."

Peter said this because he knew about the Dietary Law in Leviticus 11. We know that the Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8). So the Dietary Law is still good today. This is the New Testament and Peter had to have known about the Dietary Law. Furthermore the Lord did not change this Law. The angel of the Lord said, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."

We know that God have made every creature good. 1 Timothy 4:4 "For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer." Every creature is good because it id made for its purpose. We cant eat a mule but a mule was made to till the ground. A bald eagle or a seagull can not be eaten because they are scavengers. They were made to clean the landscape. Like catfish and crab and snails are scavengers for their purpose. But let's see HOW are they "sanctified by the word of God."

Leviticus 11:44 "For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

Leviticus 11:46 "This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten."

Sanctified means ...set apart! Therefore, the clean and the unclean things is can and can not eat. SO WHAT IS THE ANGEL OF THE LORD TALKING ABOUT AND KNOW THAT THE Jesus did not kill this LAW. Matthew 5: 17..."Think NOT that I have come to destroy the Law or the prophets: I have NOT come to destroy but to fulfill." For us to understand ACTS 10, we must continue in the word to get understanding. Therefore, let's really see what Acts 10 is REALLY ALL about.

Peter was wondering about the meaning of this vision, but he knew he was not going to eat nothing unclean. Peter even asked Cornelius WHY have you come? LOOK what else Peter said...

Acts 10:28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

ACTS 10 had nothing to do with the food we eat but the great sheet knit that had all manner of beast of the earth on it represented the OTHER NATIONS that the Lord wanted to bring into The word of God.

Isaiah 49:5 " And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth."

John 10:16 "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."

Cornelius is the FIRST Gentile to That God allowed to come into the household of Faith because he was A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always.
