I see 3 Masjid from my country. Hehehe...
About Baiturrahman Masjid in Banda Aceh, did you ever heard the story of it in the day when Tsunami wipe off Banda Aceh? Before Tsunami, this Masjid stood in the middle of big city. But right after Tsunami, when everything around it gone but brown mud only, it is the only building which standing still and strong, right until now. The Masjid become a shelter for the victims. they who run inside and above the Masjid are save. The flood never enter the Masjid more than to make it wet only. If you Google it I'm sure you can find several pic about it. And there is another Masjid placed in the beach, where the Tsunami came. Everywhere around it gone, but this Masjid too, stood still. And in every school or office, the Mushalla always become the one that save from destruction, while others room around it already become ruin.
Inside that disaster, we able to see miracle. Allahu Akbar.
Good pictures. I have visited Badshahi Mosque in Lahore and Faisal Mosque in Islamabad.
