Angels to the Rescue
One Woman's True Life Experience
Just yesterday I was hanging out with a friend of mine and we began sharing personal stories from our youth (we're both over 45). Has this ever happened with you? The atmosphere is right and the sharing begins... and continues for as long as necessary until the connection is sealed in time forever. It's a wonderful experience, both releasing and healing at the same time.
Anyway, she told me in great detail a story that was both tragic and uplifting at the same time. Her words described the experience in such detail that I felt I was with her during the incident, watching it happen before my eyes. The story moved me to inspiration.
So here I sit today, New Year's Eve, 2010, retelling it to you in hopes of dousing your fears of death and life after death, and, moreover, instilling within you a deep passion for life on earth as you know it. Our souls may live forever, but this lifetime will eventually come to an end as we transition into the afterlife.
As we enter 2011 we have new opportunities to create joy within each moment. If this sounds intriguing to you then please read on for a story about miracles and faith...

A Little Background
My friend, Ronda, lived and worked in a Miami Lakes, Florida in the late 80's. She was married to John at the time and raising their toddler son, Jonathan. Their marriage was tumultuous and as a result, Ronda had inadvertently lost so much weight that she was a size 0. This becomes important as the story continues.
The day Ronda encountered a miracle beyond all miracles in her life began as a typical day for her. At 8:15 in the morning she dropped her son at his daycare and began navigating through interstate traffic on her way to a job interview. The night before she worked late into the night updating and refreshing her resume. They had recently moved to Florida from Louisiana where they both worked for J.S.M.
She already had one job in television directing, but she wanted another one to give her full time income so that she could continue to live the type of lifestyle she had become accustomed to living while working for Jimmy. This type of work is intense and demanding, which could have only added to her overall mental stress level.
Traffic was moving but congested due to never ending construction on the 4 lane highway going south. She hummed and sang out loud to the tunes on the radio in her brand new 1989 silver Lincoln Ltd, not knowing the incredible and horrible experience she was endure...

The Accident
The interstate highway was loaded with traffic due to construction and as Ronda changed lanes, she unknowingly ran into some concrete barriers at a speed of at least 55 mph. This sent her car flipping out of control , off the interstate, and down a long embankment before finally coming to a stop. It must have looked like a crazy stunt car like we see in the movies, but it wasn't. It was real.
Ronda said it happened so fast that all she noticed was a scraping sound and then when she opened her eyes all she could see was white.
Helping Hands
"Where am I?" Ronda asked to herself. No answer.
As she took a few deep breaths, she realized that she was inside her car, which was upside down, and she was still strapped in her seat belt. When she tried to unlock herself, nothing happened. Then she realized that her car was in some sort of a ditch used for construction and water was leaking inside.
"What do I do? Please help me!" she pleaded, now realizing she had to get out of the car... and soon...
"Try to turn your shoulders and twist your body," she heard from a voice outside of herself but somehow inside as well. When she tried this idea, somehow knowing exactly which way to move, it worked and all of a sudden she fell onto the inside roof, distorted and confused. She tried to open the car door and it did not move because the force of the water against it was too strong. As soon as she found herself wondering where her briefcase was because it had her new resume in it, it came floating up to her along with her purse.
"Oh, that's a relief," she thought, not realizing how ridiculous it was. "But how do I get out?" she asked again, hoping to hear the angelic voice again.
"You will know in 90 seconds," a different voice said.
"What?" Ronda thought.
"Ronda," the angelic voice said, "Do you want to live or die? Either way you will be alright."
Then without hesitation, Ronda replied, "I want to live. Please help me." By now she is hearing sirens approaching and the enormity of her situation is starting to sink in.

45 SECONDS
Glub, glub, glub was the sound of the water as it was now seeping much faster into her car. Before she could ask for more help she heard, "45 seconds," from the second voice.
"What is this? An angel that keeps track of time?" she thought, feeling frustrated that time was moving so slowly and she was still stuck in her drowning car.
Then she could hear the voices of the emergency team moving closer to her car. They were saying that they could not see the passenger so she called out,"I'm here. I'm here. Please help."
"Ronda, you must move to the back seat of the car," the voice commanded. "You must do it quickly." She hurried, knowing that the 45 seconds wouldn't last forever and that something bad could happen if she didn't obey.
When she got to the rear seat, she was instructed to place her feet in certain positions. She felt like she was not inside her body, rather, she was watching herself from outside as if her body was a puppet. "Now, when we give the command you must push with all your strength on the back window," the voice said.
"The water is at least 12' deep," one of the fire men said. The sound of the rescuers was getting closer, but Ronda had no idea how far away they really were. She was on her own. On her own, that is, except for the angels that were assisting her and saving her life.
"And it is very important that when you push you do not breathe in at the same time, Ronda. Push as you breathe out," the voice said. Then before she could wonder what to do next, she heard,
"OK, Ronda, Push!" This time the voice spoke in a tone so loud that it vibrated through her entire body and gave her strength. As she pushed the entire back window of her car popped off with ease. And then the white colored water rushed into her face and body, pushing her off balance and down.
"No wonder I wasn't supposed to inhale," she thought as she grabbed her briefcase and purse and made her way out of the car into a huge pond of thick limestone residue.
CONNECTING WITH YOUR ANGELS - Book By Doreen Virtue
Doreen Virtue is one of my favorite authors. Her books chronicle the journey of her life as a healer and Divine channel. She communicates directly with the angelic realm. I highly recommend all of her publications.
The Ending
As she exited the car, she heard what must have been a police officer asking for a detail of the accident. "I saw it," she heard another voice say. "Her car must have rolled at least 20 times."
The thickness of the limestone sludge that Ronda was swimming through was of no concern to her. She knew safety was less than 20' away on the sloped banks and she was going to get there come hell or high water. She also knew that she was a good swimmer, and although she did have some neck and back pain this was going to be a lot easier than being stuck in that sinking car. It seemed like it was taking forever, and then her train of concentration was broken by the sound of laughter.
"She's all right," one of the crew yelled, "because I can see she has her purse and her brief case with her." Ronda had completely forgotten that she had these essential to life items as she clutched onto them for dear life. At the onset of her drudgery she had realized that her shoes were slowing her down so off they came, but not the bags.
After what seemed like an hour of swimming in the muck, Ronda made it to shore where she was helped from this point on by rescue workers of the human kind. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and her injuries to the neck and back were treated on an outpatient level. She was not even admitted to the hospital!
AFTERWARDS
Several weeks later, Ronda went to the wrecking yard to recover the registration from the car with John. She was so completely devastated when she saw the unrecognizable, demolished car that she broke down in tears. She could not believe that she was still alive, and yet at the same time she could believe it because she had been asked and she remembered that she was certain she would live.
"It was no coincidence that I lived," Ronda told me. "I have important healing work to do for our planet."
In the time after viewing her car, she understood that many synchronicities had occurred on that day:
Synchronicity #1: She wouldn't have survived the intensity of the crash if it weren't for the protection of her angels.
Synchronicity #2: She also knew that she wouldn't have been able to squirm out of the seat belt if she were not so small.
Synchronicity #3. And she knew that she was alone in the car when the accident happened because she wouldn't have been able to save both her self and her toddler son.
Synchronicity #4. She knew that if she had seen the actual damage to the car instead of the white from the limestone water that was covering everything, she would have been in such a state of panic that she would not have lived.
And as for the importance of the purse and the briefcase... I guess it was just comic relief!
