Who Wants to have a "Ruined Resolution"? If its really important, give it a Reason!

"If I had only kept my New Years Resolution!" He gasped, as he went under water. No, he did not drown, but he failed the qualifying time.

People say that to themselves, and only to themselves, if its really serious, and not some boozy rejoinder at a St. Patrick's Day Party in March of that selfsame year. This coming Year is the time.

What is the topic? Health, Habits (bad), Medical Issues (you have been ignoring), Social Issues (cleaning up your vocabulary), (actually listening to underlings, children, and unimportant people), contributing your time, money, prayers and meditations to worthy causes. Stopping boozing and other self-destructive habits. And in general and specifically---things that get to you alone, that somebody writing an article can't come up with'

Let's dive deeply into some astro-symbols that are connected to each and ever one of us.

GETTING TOUGH WITH YOURSELF AT NEW YEARS

What is the topic? Health, Habits (bad), Medical Issues (you have been ignoring), Social Issues (cleaning up your vocabulary), (actually listening to underlings, children, and unimportant people), contributing your time, money, prayers and meditations to worthy causes. Stopping boozing and other self-destructive habits. And in general and specifically---things that get to you alone, that somebody writing an article can't come up with.

It's Scorpio. Bringing DISCONTENT and Sagittarius is "ahoof" planning strategies. Capricorn is full of Resolve and Aquarius transplants it to the Sunny Kitche

"it's October and November. At work its time for summarizing and planning, and figuring out what I have to get done for the end of the year."

During Scorpio everyone kind of feels irritable and tense. This is when offices doors close and people start raising their voices, or not talking at all. Goals not reached become talked about. Bosses challenge their groups. Management can be demanding, and little NYR sprouts can be popping up in your mind.

"How will I get ready for next year?" It's only November and December.

That's a question we tend to ask ourselves during Scorpio, because guess what? During party time festive days of dancing and conviviality, the NYR sprout will be deepening roots, but not yet putting out blossoms---during Sagittarius. Wintry weather keeps us in new wardrobes. We get prepared for "bundling". "Bundling" with all of its potential overtones can be DISTRACTING FOR THE PREOCCUPYING DISCONTENT.

Four legged Pegasus coursing through the Skies pays little attention to the seriousness of winning the Kentucky Derby. He has fillies to impress----bonuses to spend before the end of the year. The NYR sprout is still there; you're just not watering it enough. Besides its too cold during SAGITTARIUS.

But now, it's after Christmas and before New Years. Capricorn takes you to the now grown New Years Resolution. You have conceived it in the solitude of Scorpio. You have let it flourish on its own on the hillside during Sagittarius. Hardy and stronger, stems and buds form on this winter plant. Aquarius tells you to take it to the window in your Kitchen, where the blazing Sun gives it strength as you daily water.

Whether its high minded or basic, the New Years Resolution should be something you can achieve and accomplish. Maybe it leads to an entire Self Improvement Program. Don't work from sadness, defeat or discouragement. Make it fit in to a newer life.

The signs all work together for your Mutual Purpose. Issues from one lead to issues in the next. The "tradition" of the NYR is healthy for the Human Psyche!
