5 Takeaways From Monday Night Raw - 5/28/18
I am beginning a new series, simply known as "5 Takeaways", where I will share my personal main talking points coming out of Raw and SmackdownLive.
These are all my opinion, so I may miss a nugget or two. If you have something to add to my list, or a list of your own, feel free to share in the comment section below!

5. Still no AOP
After being called up from NXT, the Authors of Pain have done absolutely nothing on the main roster. Despite a couple of squash matches, many (myself included) expected the powerhouse tag team to immediately run roughshod over the Raw tag division.
This has yet to happen - in fact, it's more than fair to question whether WWE made a mistake. I predicted Braun Strowman to win the tag team titles solo at Wrestlemania and successfully defend them for a few months before a debuting AOP take the monster down, and put the entire Raw roster on notice.
At this point, one has to wonder if they will be the second coming of the main roster Ascension... yikes.
4. Alexa Bliss may have been proven right
After months of buildup for their Wrestlemania match, Nia Jax was victimized of relentless teasing and bullying from Alexa Bliss and Mickie James. After losing her title, however, Bliss came out about Jax being the real bully all along. Despite this seeming like just a case of sour grapes, the current champion is showing those heel-ish signs in her current feud with Ronda Rousey.
From annihilating a poor opponent who obviously stood no chance to getting snippy with those in the crowd, Jax may be revealed as the real bully after all.
3. American Alpha reunion?
Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre have been a breath of fresh air since coming to Raw as a tag team. Their beef with superstars "lacking that fire" sounds realistic, and is a good story to be told. However, wrestling in the tag division, they need another team to feud with. Currently, Chad Gable is the one on the receiving end of their attacks...
Enter: Jason Jordan. Jordan has been off WWE television since before Wrestlemania, due to a neck injury. Rumors are, he is able to return at any time now. What better way to make a comeback than to reunite the former American Alpha? These two teams would put on great matches together, and help boost a Raw tag division in desperate need of a spark.
2. Elias has a direction
Elias has been lost in the shuffle for much longer than he needed to be. The guitar playing sensation has been wasting away from being fed to a returning Bobby Lashley, or having pointless matches with (Boring) Bobby Roode.
On Raw, he attacked Seth Rollins, signaling a possible pathway into the Intercontinental championship picture. This is fantastic news, as the pair should do wonders between the ropes together. I for one, cannot wait to see these two square off.
What should Elias be involved in?
1. Kevin Owens' big chance?
KO has had a great run since moving over to Raw (his Smackdown run was phenomenal as well), as a dastardly heel who will do whatever it takes to get his way, including stooping so low as to getting Stephanie McMahon involved.
After a terrific showing in defeat against Seth Rollins, Owens managed to weasel his way into the Money in the Bank qualifying match, and came away victorious. He lost a tag match alongside Jinder Mahal last week, but just defeated another Money in the Bank participant in Bobby Roode to solidify himself as a favorite to win the briefcase.
As a great heel already, Owens would make an amazing "Mr. Money in the Bank", and make every Monday night must-see tv.
