I don’t about any of you out there, but when I go on a vacation I all ways bring my skimboard. Now you may think that this is crazy, but it’s actually surprisingly easy to travel with your favorite skimboard. All you need to do is to make sure you know what you’re doing! If you do, you won’t ever have to worry about any type of damages. No matter how you’re traveling, we’ll be discussing it here! So the next trip you take, don’t forget your favorite possession. Who knows, you may find the perfect spot to tear it up!

Needed Items For Skimboard Travel-

If you’re about to travel with your skimboard then you absolutely must buy a skimboarding bag. This is like a giant carrying case for your skimboard. This will definitely help your odds of not breaking your board! This is exactly what we’re going for!

The next items you need are commonly found in any home! So don’t worry about buying anything else you cheapskate! The next things you need to get are something like pillows that you can stuff into the bag. You can use clothes, sheets or anything really. As long as it will protect the board! You’ll find out how to do this correctly later on.

By car-

If you ever find yourself on a road trip, then you shouldn’t have much to worry about! This is because you will be able to really watch over it and take care of it! You can throw it in the trunk and it should be fine. Just remember not to let it get too hot or you could run into some problems down the road. If you pay attention then you shouldn’t have to worry too much about your skimboard!

By plane-

Planes are by far the roughest form of transportation for your little buddy. These people that pack your board really could care less! This is why you should consider packing soft items around your board while it’s in the case. Your board will be thrown multiple times, fall five or six feet repeatedly all before and after each flight! So it should be a big deal that you pack your traveling bag to the brink!

How to pack your skimboard for any type of travel-

Traveling can be one of the most damaging aspects of your skimboards entire life. Especially if one doesn’t know how to properly pack his board for travel. But it’s really easy and cheap to do! All you have to do, is get a skimboarding bag that is slightly larger than the board itself. Then just pack some soft stuff like clothes or a sleeping bag around it. It should sit tight and snug. If you do this correctly, no matter what happens to it, you should be in the clear!

So the next time your planning to go on a vacation where there's some water then you should definitely bring your skimboard. Now you know exactly what you need and how to travel successfully! So have fun tearing up those waves BRO
